My alarm buzzes and I grumpilly get out of bed. After I get ready for school I wait at my bus stop with my earphones blasting really loud MSI music. I hop on the bus when it comes, and I sit by myself, when I feel something hit my head. I turn around and see the gang who sit at the back of the bus laughing, and yelling "hey emo girl"
I turn back around and roll my eyes. I knew them, they went to the school opposite ours. The used to call me posh girl, but ever since our school changed from all girls to multi gender; they decided to call me emo girl. I felt something hit my shoulder again, so I turned around ready to yell. But it was someone tapping my shoulder. Frank. "Oh my God" I said, laughing. "How did I not see you as I got on the bus?"
Frank replied just by flipping his hood over and saying "Im incognitooooo"
I giggled uncontrolably and turned around to properly face him. As he looked up I realised he had extremely beautiful eyes. They were green around the rims, but somehow a hazel colour near the pupil. "Kate, have you met my sister, Hazel?" Frank asked me, as he turned backwards and hit the quiet, dark haired girl sitting behind him "What do you want Frankie" she replied, taking out her earphones.
She looked just like him, just with girlier features, and frizzy, curly hair. "Hazel, this is Kate, my friend" Frank introduced.
"Hey" she smiled at me.
"Hey.. What year are you in? Im sure I have seen you before..." I ask Hazel.
"10... Yeah, didnt we have a couple of periods together last year?" She replies.
"YES, thats it, we had art together!" I exclaim.
"Yeah, I dont really want to sound like a stalker, but your artwork is really good, I love the whole 'dark' theme to it" she replies, and winks a bit.
I laugh, as I think to myself. These guys are so cool, im so glad im friends with them, even though I really only met Frank yesterday. I had completley forgotten about my old friends, two of them were sitting near the back of the bus, giggling and whispering. Frank notices me staring, and questions me. "Are those your friends?"
"Well, kind of... I guess theyre old friends now. They never really... I dont know... Enjoyed my prescence" I reply, rolling my eyes.
"Aaah, I know the feeling. You see, I go to church, so you know, it was expected of me to sit with my church 'buddies'. But I guess I never really fit in with them. Im still friends, but, just not GOOD friends." Frank replies, seriously.
"Exactly. Those are my church buddies too, but I guess theyre just not my school buddies..." I tell Frank.
"Well if you want, you can hang out with me at breaks..." Frank asks, and my heart rate speeds up.
"Uh.... Yeah... I would really really like that" I reply, just as we arrive at school. As I walk off the bus I hear Hazel talking to frank, saying "See, I think she likes you!"
Or maybe I heard wrong
