the empty town - chapter 5

y/n POV

???: HEY!

-as i heard someone shouted to me, i look behind me and saw someone... i thought this place is abandoned...-david: wait a minute, who are you? and where did you come from
y/n: more importantly how did you get here
???: i was stuck in that closet for many years from it, AND I SAW IT ALL
y/n: saw what?
???: my family being killed right in front of me, that's what
david: wait, before we jumped to conclusion who are you?
???: my name... louris...

-david looked at me for a second-
david: louris might know something about yourself
louris: excuse me..?
david: my friend here y/n haves amnesia, and we might think this house is theirs 
louris: i don't know the name of y/n look like. although they do look familiar...
-louris takes a step further to me taking a closer look. what's with this guy?-
louris: yea... i didn't know that nova had a twin sibling
y/n: i had a twin..?

jessica POV

-david is going upstairs to y/n, i might aswell check the basement in here-
jessica: but the question is... where is the basement?
-i'll have to check everything first... this is just like case23E where i have to find a stupid "secret" attic which it was really dumb cause it was in the elevator this whole entire time-
jessica: let's check this bookshelf
-as i check the bookshelf, i tried pulling the books one by one but... there was nothing to be found on the bookshelf, and i made a mess... i might aswell look inside of the books. i opened the pages of "perry bottom: secrets lies" i figure the name would show something atleast-
david: (mumbling noise)

-what was that? did he screamed or something?  either way, i shouldn't check him because i can't hear anything. as i opened the book i found a remote control, i pressed the red button then the book shelf starts moving... it's cliche if you think about it... i entered the basement and i'm not surprised there's a dead body sitting in there, but what is surprising is the fact he's tied up to the chair. a torture? besides the dead body there is a picture beside him, a family picture... with y/n? i have to show them this-

-i grabbed my phone then started calling david, i used my earphones to the highest volume so i can hear them clearly-
jessica: hello?
david: can you hear me?
jessica: just abit, you gotta come quick to the basement
david: right, just don't use your earphones like this you'll make your ears even worst
jessica: we'll see about that
-i hung up the phone and im guessing david is on his way already-

david POV

-stupid jessica, she'll break her earphones even tho she just started using that earphones but i just bought it for her birthday... it's so expensive ;-; anyways i go downstairs to see jessica, i told y/n to stay with louris in the meantime-
david: what is it?
jessica: ? 
david: uh...
-i texted to jessica "what is it", once she looked what i texted she instantly point at a picture frame... THAT'S Y/N! IT'S A FAMILY PICTURE BUT... where's nova? then i started texting jessica this-

david: THAT'S Y/N!!!
jessica: that's why i called you here
david: does that mean this is y/n's house? 
jessica: possibly, or this is just their auntie's house because i saw some pictures that doesn't look like them in the picture
david: u sur?
jessica: + [positive], we'll have to split up the town then see what's inside of each houses 
david: oh ye, there's actually some guy in his 40's his name is louren? lauren? oh wait it's louris derp lol
jessica: louris? he's in here?
david: apparently he knows an info about y/n abit 
jessica: what's it about?
david: apparently, y/n has a twin name nova

-i look at jessica for a moment, she looks abit shocked-
jessica: very interesting, but we still have to split up around town before it gets dark. just call a cab to the police station, you already know where it is. cause i'm going there right now to the station to request something, so tell me if anything, ANYTHING happens before 7pm
david: fine, we only have 3 hours so it wouldn't be bad
-after finishing our text, jessica nodded at me then leaves after a few moments. then i told y/n to split up with louris and jessica left early to get something-
[1.5 hours later]

-it was just me and y/n checking at the last streets of the town. not too long ago louris wanted to join us, jess said if he wanted to join us he might aswell have interogation or an interview whatever with them-
y/n: hey david...
-i look to y/n, they look down for whatever reason...-
david: what's wrong?
y/n: oh, it's nothing it's just that... how do we know we'll find my twin, or any of my family
david: how should i know, this town is abandoned and we don't have a lead towards your family besides we did came here to see if you remember anything
y/n: i only remember this town was alive, i don't know anything else. i don't even know i had a sister
david: either way, we're at the last street of the block... i'll check this house, you check the other

-coincidentally, both doors were unlock-

y/n POV

-as expected, more dead bodies and the house is still dusty, and not a single thing i can find...-
y/n: i need a bathroom
-i might aswell check the bathroom if there's anything in... here... another dead body... great, now i can't take a piss. besides that point, why is there so many dead bodies in this town... i looked into the mirror, then once i blink my eyes i saw in the mirror is myself but my appearance is covered by blood-
y/n: what the...
-i took off my glasses, then i put it back in then i saw a normal reflection of myself again... and then my head feels... abit dizzy... i can hear my heartbeat from here, i don't know what's happening-
y/n w-what...
???: STAY BACK
y/n: w-who's that
-i looked what's behind me, and i can't tell if it's real or not but... someone is getting stabbed on the bathtub... what is going on? i rubbed my eyes then there's nothing there and my headache is gone. i don't know what is going on anymore-

david: yo y/n, you got a moment?
-i heard david shouting at me from down stairs, i might as well go there-
y/n: what?
david: is this familiar to you?
-he showed me an old flip phone, i don't know whose phone is that-
y/n: no i don't
david: i think we can charge this phone at the police station
y/n: great
david: get louris, cause i'm calling a cab
y/n: sure
david: also one question
y/n: what is it?
david: even if you have amnesia... what if it's something you don't wanna remember?
-something i don't wanna remember? what?-
y/n: what do you mean?
david: like... you don't wanna remember something that's bad or horrifying
y/n: i wouldn't care
david: w-why?
