I pull up to the mall tryna find a parking spot. It was so hard to find one. Why this mall have to be pack? Don't they have anything else better to do.
"This a nice ass truck son"my mom said with a smile. "If your dad was alive to see this"
"He's lookin down at me smiling right now"I said. I unbuckle my seatbelt waiting for them to get out. Once Kenny and my mom got out the car, I was bout to get out but then Kaitlyn stop me. What is it? "Uhhh you okay?"I ask her.
"No I'm not"she looked at me with them blue eyes. My mom knocked on the car window with a concern look on her face. I rolled down the window tryna see what she gone say.
"Y'all alright?"my mom ask.
"Yeah. We gone be right out"I said.
"I'm just apologizing to him about how I acted towards his fiancé"Kaitlyn said. My mom nodded her head and walked off with Kenny.
"Apologize"I said.
"No. I'm not here to actually apologize"Kaitlyn faced me. "I wanna know why you marrying her?"
"Cause I love her"—"she's my wife to be and you just gone have to deal with it"I said with an attitude.
"Deal with it?! How I'm suppose to deal with it when not too long ago you had sex with me!!"Kaitlyn yelled. "I felt something Shawn! I had love for you"
"Kait that was a long time ago! I got over it and so should you!"I exit out the car closing my door.
As I was making my way to the mall, I kept thinking about what happened between me and Kaitlyn way back when we was teens. I made the most biggest mistake of my life.
•Flashback•
"Shawn, dinner time"Shawn mother called him to the table to eat. Kenny and Jr was already at the table waiting for the food.
At first, Shawn didn't like them but he started opening up to them. Kenny just divorce his wife and have custody of his 2 kids, Kenny Jr and Kaitlyn. Kathleen and Katy came along after the divorce.
"What we having?"Shawn ask his mom.
"Pork chops with yellow rice and salad"she smiled.
"Mmmmmm, smells good"Kenny kissed sandra lips. Just then Kaitlyn walked in the door with her long blonde hair and blue eyes. She sat next to Shawn looking at the plate of food.
"It looks good Sandra"she said. All Shawn can do was look at Kaitlyn. He liked her but now they're stepbrother and stepsister. He just have to move on.
As they was eating their food, Shawn felt something touching his lap. He look down at his lap seeing a note. He picked it up unfolding it.
Hey Shawn, Meet me by the bathroom. ❤︎Kaitlyn
Shawn look up seeing Kaitlyn gone. He got up from his chair carrying his plate. He scope out his food putting the plate in the dishwasher. He walk to the back where the bathroom was looking for Kaitlyn. She grabbed his shirt pulling him inside his room.
"Kai....."he stop once he felt Kaitlyn lips on his kissing him passionately. Shawn pulled away looking at her blue eyes.
"I couldn't wait any longer"she said. "I really like you"
"I do too but my mom and your dad is getting married soon. We can't keep doing this"Shawn said. Kaitlyn whole mood change. She let go of Shawn face and left out the bathroom.
Shawn did the right thing.
•Flashback Over•
I couldn't believe what we did back then. I had to stop it cause it felt weird. My mom was gone Kaitlyn stepmom and Kenny was gone be my stepdad.
