Chapter 1- Coming home

"Shh!"  "Is she here yet?"  "I don't know"

As i walked up to my front door i could literally hear all my friends and family practicing saying "Surprise" I didn't wanna ruin anything so i just went along with it. I walked in then- 

"SURPRISE" I played along even though i knew they were trying to surprise me. 

Kyra: OMG HII YOU GUYS!! I said as i was running towards Hannah and Nakierra

Nakierra & Hannah: HIII BESTFRIEND

Kyra: I missed you guys so much ya'll are sooo pretty now i can't even...

Hannah: Chile don't go there you're pretty asf too 😒

Nakierra: Anyways how have you been? 

I couldn't really hear what she said after that cause i saw him.... cute, tall (compared to my short ass), voice really deep...yep that's him. I couldn't even recognize him....Vallyk Pena. He walked over to me and i could feel my heart racing. Every step that he took closer to me my heart skipped a beat. NO! NO! He's my brother's best friend i cant like him chile i got a bf for god's sake...

Hannah: KYRA!

Kyra: Huh- oh... i-i'm sorry....

Nakierra: As i was saying Khalil is over there waiting for you..

Kyra: Oh...hold on let me say hi to Jasline and Vallyk.

As i walked over we made eye contact..he smiled and waved to me, i waved back...then when i was finally close we gave each other a big hug. I could feel my cheeks turning red.

"This is wrong. This is wrong"  i kept thinking to myself

Vallyk: Hi stranger he said with a smile on his face.

Kyra: Hey cu- I mean heyyyy Vallyk...

Jasline: Uhm where tf is my hug?!

Kyra: Bitch you dont get a hug-

Vallyk: Daaaaaamn

Jasline: Stfu you're adopted Vallyk

Kyra: Imma just go...

I was walking then i saw Khalil....Khalil is my boyfriend... he's mean, smokes weed, and he's stupid hot..but he's not Vallyk. I got with Khalil in 8th grade because i was ashamed that i gave my first kiss to Vallyk...i mean i've know him for like 10 years and again.... hello brother's best friend... but anyways back to Khalil. As i walked towards him i could feel the tension and energy between us. I mean even though i kinda still like Vallyk...I love Khalil to death. He's my everything. So him acting like this is weird is very unusual.

Kyra: Hi ba-  i couldn't even finish my sentence without him pulling me closer and smacking his lips onto mine. God i  missed him so much.

Khalil: Hey baby. How uh...how was it..

Kyra: It was a really hard 2 years but i made it. Now we can have our junior and senior year together. I said as i wrapped my hands around his neck.

Khalil: Yeah...

Kyra: I have more people to say hi to but i promise i'll be back then it's all you okay? I said then i gave him a quick peck on the cheek then went to finish saying hi.

I got into my room it had all just hit me that i'm home. I started having a little anxiety attack so i called the one person who's always there for me. Jasline. But it wasn't her who answered the phone..

After a long conversation i finally felt settled in. Then Khalil came back to get his phone and he left. Without a goodbye...
