Prologue

  A long long time ago, there was a world called Hex. The King was very loyal to his subjects and he was also very kind as well. For many years the Kings of Hex passed down a power called the gift of the Alicorn.

     When a girl or a boy of the royal family turns 13 they have a ceremony and they get to drink a pink liquid from a flower that was known as the Magicka. It grants them the power of a normal life Alicorn, but … every 100,000 moons a real Alicorn is born and that Alicorn will be the true king of Hex. Unfortunately, Hex was destroyed long ago by a Demon. Little is known about Hex, Earth’s people don’t know anything about it. We can only hope there’s someone out there who lived and that will tell our stories. 

Boy: Mom? 

Yes, child? 

Boy: Would I be king if I was an Alicorn. 

The Mom smiled. 

Who knows. Just remember who you are and even when the times get rough your friends will always be there to guide you and so will I. 

The boy smiled.
