Second POV
(POV may switch often; I'm better writing detail this way for some reason xD. Tell me if you want me to use the Reader's POV instead if that's more of a preferable choice ^^ )After a couple of twists and turns along the many corridors and halls, you all finally arrive at the courtyard. Nothing looked different, just the same as when everyone left it. It was probably only around or less than an hour after all. There were tufts of grass that looked either washed over or slightly burnt- most likely due to fire magic. You had a hunch as to whom they were casted by.
The Scala Academy might as well be magic-resilient considering its establishment is overall mystical and intricate. That's only theoretically speaking, you only presumed since the burn marks should be considerably more prominent than what is shown before you.
You then remember what Eraqus had summarised for you a few minutes ago regarding the boy, Xehanort. Xehanort's continuous self-questioning about your presence and memories confused you, but it also peeked your interest.
His 'memories' are what seemed to be the problem if you're catching on right. If that was the case, what did they have to do in association with you? What was it that caused this sudden panic attack? That's what you needed to know.
Eraqus already gave a detailed explanation about the situation and that's what you'll be using as backup or at least evidence along with your memory problem. You could tell Eraqus was highly concerned for Xehanort since he said he'll need you to return with any background information so he can understand what's going on with him. Even if it's only a few words, he needed something.
You did end up promising a chat with the problematic-yet-supposedly-traumatic kid anyway. Actually, that's now. Why didn't you wait until lunch to go talk to him? Well that's because Eraqus' antsy pants wouldn't be able to hold himself from going to comfort his bro. He could do that, but getting the information required won't be easy from him. If Xehanort's mess had something to do with you then you'll have to be the one there.
A couple of minutes pass from your contemplation, and that's when Master Odin comes into view. You didn't think it'd be a good idea to confront him now- you need to make up an excuse to leave first. If you confronted him to voluntarily abandon the training lesson for personal reasons then there's a probability he'll decline the request. And if he does then you'll have to wait for an extra 2 hours until lunch break to be able to talk to Xehanort.
You weren't having that.
Even if you weren't majorly concerned since he was just 'nobody' to you, something else is dragging you into the situation. It's not just because his problem started with you, but because of the fact that your memories are also an issue. There might be a link.
At least 10 minutes into the lesson you'll fake a stomach pain... Or a cramp because- yeah no we don't need to get into details. Staying at the infirmary to have an in-depth chat about something so vaguely comprehensible shouldn't take too long.
Hopefully.
Eraqus is probably well-known for his jolly personality so getting him to help you leave by acting like you were genuinely in pain might be achievable. If he could fake a worried act then things might not go to shit. If he is THAT concerned then he should be able to pull it off.
"Hey, Eraqus."
"[Y/N]? What's up?"
"Could you do me a favour?"
