I wake up to the sound of the alarm clock. Freaking whoop! I walk to the bathroom and yawn. Don't you just love Saturdays? A day for resting. A day of relaxation. Well that's not the case for me. I need to do that stupid biography. What? My grandpa always said "The faster you get sh*t done the more fun you'll have." He's basically telling me not to procrastinate. I blame myself for doing work so early, I mean the deadline's at the end of the year. I sigh. I take a second to look at myself in the mirror. I look like a dead nerd. No, much more like a dead cat still dying. I decided to take a shower and dress up to go to the hospital or a home for the elderly. Miss recommended me to go there. To find a person and write about their entire life. Lucky me. I leave my room and run to the kitchen, grab a slice of cold pizza in the fridge and eat it. Some people find cold pizza gross and disgusting but I needed food and my lazy butt wasn't gonna fix a bowl of cereal. I wash my hands and dust the crumbs off my clothes as I go out.
I walk to the hospital. My aunt Naomi works there and she found and old woman who has an amazing life. Unfortunately, she has digestive problems and hopefully I won't smell anything funny. Although I understand that she's old and sick and she's going through hard times.
"Lisa!" My aunt waved
"Auntie!!" I give her a tight squeeze.
I love hugs. I love giving them. I love receiving them. I love how they felt. I feel safe around someone's arms. I feel invincible. No one can hurt me now. But alas, hugs do not last for a long time.
It usually takes 1 second or something.
"So where's granny somebody?" I asked.
"Oh I bring you to her" She said with a bright smile.
She lead me to granny somebody's room. I'll call her granny bacon for now.(lol if you get where I got granny bacon from then you're cool.) While we went to granny bacon's room we talked about life. She mainly did all the talking because she's working and all but I got to talk so that's good. Then I realized she's always smiling. It's hard to smile in the hospital. A hospital is a place for people dying, people almost dying, people starting to realize they're dying, people who checked ahead of time so they can prevent dying, all of these end with the word "dying" either that or people are getting their yearly check-ups. But my auntie always smiles. She's the receptionist of the hospital along with her close friend Denise. Denise is constantly tired mainly because she has 2 kids and she's a single mom. She sleeps on the job and when she's awake she looks like a corpse ready to decay. She still smiles but it obviously shows that she tired. I don't mean this as an insult, I'm just stating facts. Hey, at least she took the day off and she got babysitter for her kids so I hope she enjoys herself. But my aunt manages to keep smiling at the saddest place ever.
Maybe I'm wrong, the hospital bares happiness in it too. Like when a baby is born. When the ill are no longer ill anymore. Or just simply knowing your time is up and you had a good run.
Then sometimes I wonder. When will I stop thinking? Yep I should shut my thinking down before this becomes a 500 chaptered novel with 10 sequels and it's just about my thoughts.
"Here we are!" She said presenting the door
ringgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
"Ohh grannys having a little trouble." She says biting her lip.
"How do you know?" I asked.
I'm always curious. I don't know much about a hospital.
"Well a bell rang and it came from her room so she needs assistance." She says pointing to the speaker outside the door.
"Well okay. I'll just wait outside." I suggested. I know I'm being rude but I sure granny didn't want me to see her having digestive problems, trust me I didn't want to see it too.
"Okay I'll be assisting her for awhile then she can talk with you" She rushes in granny bacon's room and I can hear granny saying either "help me I clogged the toilet" or "Help me I'm stuck on the toilet."
More nurses rush in to help granny. I hope granny's alright.
While waiting I started texting Saber. He just sitting at home playing video games.
"Ummm... granny isn't available right now..." aunt Naomi said but still with a smile on her face.
"Okay, I understand." I said as I nodded my head.
"I'll just come back tomorrow?" I asked
"Yes." She replied. She went back in granny bacon's room and help her do something.
I turn and walk away slowly. I look back to see if anythings all right but the nurses were almost done fixing the problem. I didn't want to jeopardize it. Well the bad effect of looking back is you don't see what's coming your way. So I ended up bumping shoulders with a doctor.
"Sorry!" I apologized.
"No it's okay." He said. He obviously had stuff to do.
I get out of the hospital and just head home. There's nothing else to do anyway.

I see my doctor brushing his shoulder as he enters my room.
"Are you okay?" He asked me as he checks his clipboard.
"I feel normal." I said looking at the window.
"Normal.... okay...." the doctor said tapping his pen on the clipboard.
I hear noise coming from the other room.
"What's all the noise about?" I asked.
"Oh I don't know. Maybe she got a new visitor." He replied while writing something.
"People seldom visit...." I said. Only family would visit me. My friends wouldn't. Couldn't. They were to caught up with their lives they forgot me.
A new visitor.
Something I didn't have.
