(The metro series isn't mine not is hazbin hotel I just thought this would be an interesting fanfic)
Jan. 1st 2036, Lake Baikal, Russia.
It was snowing still, Artyom was getting used to the calmer life they had made for themselves. He's honoring Miller's last wishes of keeping Anna safe and keeping the crew of the Aurora alive and well, slightly saddened by Sam's choice to leave but he wished him the best of luck making back to America and hoped at least the Americans survived the nuclear holocaust.
A few days later,
Artyom was leading a squad of men to a military bunker that they had found the emergency transmission from over the radio, if anyone was alive in the bunker they prayed they weren't like the horrific cannibals of the yamantau bunker.
They arrived at the bunker entrance and opened the blast door, it was pitch black inside so they turned on their head lamps and began to search around finding the usual broken down equipment and files that were mostly full of useless info before the war, Artyom had split off from the main group to search a area and found a huge machine in a large container like area with a window overlooking the machine and him.
The lights turned on and Artyom looked up at the window and saw tokarev standing there and over the speakers he heard him "hey Artyom we found what looks like a control room, but nothing really special up here either I believe this was a scientific research facility before the war, I'm going to keep looking up here see if you find anything down there." Artyom nodded and went toward the machine to see what he could find but he stopped when he heard his Geiger counter spike suddenly.
Hey the author here, sorry if the chapter was short I do have more chapters written but I'll publish this to see how people like it.
