1 - HERMITCRAFT - Evil Forever

Hels went through the portal to the supposed ‘safe place’. When his vision cleared, he saw that he was in a room made mostly of black concrete, with some red accents in the walls and carpet. It was very dark overall, but probably mob proof given the carpet all over the place. The only lighting came from a chandelier in the middle made of redstone torches. However, Hels could see just fine. There seemed to be a lounge area to the right, and a small meeting table to the left with a bulletin board with a mess of papers and maps pinned to it. In the lounge area, two people sat on the couches, watching TV. Hels registered this in a few seconds, and only stopped admiring the room when Grian popped in behind him. 

“Ren, Tango, hide, X and Wels are coming” Grian panted before pulling Hels into a dark corner, revealing a dark nook that was big enough to fit two people. Before Hels was pulled into the nook, he saw one of the figures press a button and the bulletin board retracted into the wall. Hels could only assume that they went into little corner nooks as well. “Stay quiet” Grian whispered to him. 

“I know that, do I look like an idiot?” Hels whispered harshly back before silencing upon hearing two pops from the nether portal. He didn’t risk moving in fear that his armor would make a noise. Grian however, slid down the wall he was leaning on, leaning back tiredly.

Hels heard Wels give a small gasp, and X say softly, “How long has this been here?” 

Someone’s armor clattered as that person seemed to walk around a little. A communicator dinged, and someone, Hels couldn’t tell who, softly cursed, “Should have muted that before going through the portal, especially since it seems like we have to sneak around a little, they have to be hiding somewhere in here."

Have 325 words of my upcoming oneshot, that, as of posting this teaser on 07/13/2020 is 7077 words long. The AU is called Evil Counterpart AU, but that's all I'm saying!
