*Kaisel's POV*
Three days. It's been three days since the first day of school. Since we got suspended 'cause Sha decided to beat up a guy that may or may not have intended to slam into me in the halls.
Three days and I still can't think of a proper way to apologize to him.
Groaning aloud I threw my blankets off of me and sit up on my bed. Running my hand through my messy bed hair, I take my glasses from my nightstand and get out of my room.
I yawn as I walk down the stairs. I heard footsteps, humming, and the clattering of metal, so I assumed Ma is in the kitchen cooking up breakfast. I smile at the thought.
Walking into the kitchen, Ma is frying some bacon while my idiot sister, Sha, is dozing off on the dining table.
"Buenos dias Mamá." I greet her as I approach the fridge for my morning dose of milk.
"Good morning to you too, Kai." She greets back as she quickly looks over her shoulder to flash me a smile before focusing back on cooking.
"I'm here too, you know?" I heard Sha croak out.
"Where's Kei? Is he still in his room?" I ask Sha completely ignoring her question. She just groaned and lifted her head from the table.
"You know how he is." She muttered then yawned as she reached under her oversized gray t-shirt to relieve an itch.
"Why are you always, and I mean always, semi-naked in the morning?" I ask just to piss her off. And it did the trick.
"Why do you always ask when you already know?" She spat venomously with an ice-cold glare which makes me smirk on triumph.
"Oh right! Right, right, right." I say to tune her anger down a bit. "You get hot at night, right?" I inquired making sure to emphasize the word 'hot' for added effect. And it was super effective plus a critical hit.
You could practically see the veins in her forehead burst with her boiling blood.
"You fuc-" Sha began as she slammed her fist against the table but was cut off.
"¡No jurar!" Ma scolded as she puts a plate of bacon, eggs, and toast in front of me and Sha.
"And no fighting, got it?" She added shooting glares at both me and Sha.
"You heard her, you amazonian war-freak." I comment quietly as Ma turned to get another set of plates.
"Shut it!" She practically screamed at me, standing up and slamming her palms against the table making our plates clatter.
"Keisha!" Ma scolded her again.
"But Ma he called me an amazonian war-freak!" Sha exclaims ferociously, pointing an accusing finger at me.
"Kaisel! That's not... wrong, but it's still not right to call your sister like that!" She scolds me, but it really sounds like she just took my side which makes me laugh.
"Ma!" Sha called out. "You're saying he's right?!" She questioned with confusion lacing her voice.
"No! I'm not saying he was right to call you out on it, but rather he isn't completely wrong." Ma explains which made Sha even more confused making me laugh out loud.
"What do you mean 'not completely wrong'?!" Sha practically shouted at Ma.
"First, to answer your question, I'll ask you a question; Do you remember how you and your brothers got suspended?" Ma asked in all seriousness which made Sha flinch.
