One evening, Erik, Raven, Charles, Alex, Hank and Sean were all gathered around the table after Sean and Alex promptly decided they needed to bond more. Charles discovered an anicent pack of playing cards and they all eventually agreed to play Cheat, after Charles had explained the rules more than once.

"Hey, this'll be no fun playing with a telepath!" exclaimed Raven, earning a mischievous grin from Charles.

"Do I really have to play? I hate this kind of thing." Erik groaned impatiently in his deep gravelly voice, resting his head against the back of the sofa.

'Yes, you do, but don't worry, it'll be well worth it afterwards.' Charles sent in Erik's direction. They maintained eye contact for a few seconds before Raven coughed awkwardly, snapping them out of their intense thoughts.

"I-I'll get the drinks," Charles stammered, scurrying off to the kitchen. He returned shortly after with two bottles of wine, a bottle of vodka and six glasses. Almost instantly, Erik reached over and poured himself and Charles a generous glass each of wine.

'Trying to get me drunk tonight, are you?' Charles smirked as Erik sighed and rolled his eyes. Eventually, Hank dealt out the cards and they began to play.

"Charles! You're obviously reading me, you cheat!" Erik complained, after losing for the second time.

"Hence the name Cheat, my friend," Charles replied, a mischievous twinkle in his bright blue eyes. With a discreet flick of Erik's finger, Charles felt a slight tug at his metal belt buckle. He felt a deep red blush creeping up his neck as he glared at Erik, who was seemingly enjoying himself. Pouring himself yet another glass of wine, his fifth, Charles took a long sip, deliberately ignoring Erik's heated gaze.

"Easy on the wine, Charles!" laughed Alex, shaking his head.

'Drunk yet?' Charles saw the thoughts from Erik's head being forced towards him; he'd taught him how to do this recently so they could secretly talk.

'Yes, and I just can't wait to have you pinned up against that wall later on-' Charles fired back. Erik crossed his legs and let out a shaky breath before Sean yelled out in disgust.

"Ew, what the fuck Charles?" Sean shouted, wide-eyed.

"Gross," added Alex.

"Few too many drinks there, I guess," commented Hank. Raven burst out laughing as she realised what happened, which just added to Charles's confusion.

"We all just recieved your... message!" Raven explained, grinning widely. Charles groaned in complete embarrassment and glanced up at Erik, expecting him to be angry, but was surprised to see a giant grin on his face. Covering his face with his hands, Charles stood up to leave, but Erik quickly slammed the door shut, and as Charles span around to see who shut it, Erik made a sudden hand movement, unzipping the already-mortified man's fly.

"Erik! Stop! This isn't funny in the slightest!" Charles protested, covering his crotch.

'Best entertainment of the evening. I'm glad I joined in the card game.' Erik loved having these secret conversations with Charles; no one else would ever know what was being said.

'Oh really? I'm sure me moaning your name later on will be much better entertainment than this, Erik,' Charles fired in Erik's general direction, hoping for the best.

"Charles! Stop!" Raven shrieked. Clearly, Charles had failed again and was too drunk to send any telepathic messages.

"That's disgusting! Get a room!" Hank yelled, pulling a face.

Charles and Erik shared a look before they both stood up and left the room, shutting the door behind them.

"I didn't mean it literally..." Hank muttered.

"Now we'll never get peace and quiet!" Sean complained, rolling his eyes.
