Ever since I have been alone... I wanted to have someone new. I met this girl in a park named Savahna. She was a quiet and shy girl. I said hi to her a couple of times and she was quite hesitant to speak. She wrote down some words on paper. On the paper, it said, "Hello, how are you? I'm Savahna. Sorry if I'm quiet and don't speak with my voice..." I told her, "It's okay." I asked the girl if she could speak with her voice and then she did. The sound of her voice felt unusual to me and I felt butterflies in my stomach. She said her voice sounded like this because she was born with it. She felt very nervous and I told her, "It's okay, I just need to get use to it." Savahna was hesitant at first and then started to talk to me. She asked, "What brings you to Yosemite National Park?" I responded, "Well, it's a long story." After my long explanation to her, Savahna felt bad and was sorry for what had happened to me. I sat down next to her on a bench feeling sad. She then patted me on the back. She assured me that things will get better. I turned and gave a look at her. I smiled a bit and said, "Thank you." I started to have trust with the girl. I started to have confidence in myself and my sadness started to diminish. It turns out I found that someone new who can make me feel great.
