Chapter 11

Blake’s POV

I woke up the next morning and the memories of last night came flooding back. Suddenly all I felt was guilt. I quickly sat up and saw the bed empty beside me.

I got up and went downstairs and saw a plate of bacon and eggs sitting on the table with a note beside it.

It read:

Gone to dance practice. Enjoy

I had no idea how long she was going to be out so I grabbed the plate and sat on the couch. I turned the TV. Time passed and I soon heard the front door open.

I turned to see Megan walk by. She looked over at me and didn’t say a word, then continued walking. A few minutes later I heard the shower being turned on.

I needed to apologize to her. I ran upstairs and sat on our bed and waited for her to come out. There was no way I was letting her get out of the room without talking to me. I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes.

“Seriously! Can’t he leave me alone” I heard Megan mumbled

“Nope, cause we need to talk.” I said with my eyes still closed

I heard feet moving quickly towards the door and I got up and grabbed her before she could get away.

“BLAKE PUT ME DOWN” she screamed

“Sure” I said dropping her on the bed

“I don’t want to talk to you Blake”

“Ya but I need to apologize”

“Fine” she said crossing her arms

“I’m sorry. I should never have gone to that party when we had plans.” I said

“I’m over that. It’s the fact that you didn’t tell me. I don’t care if you went to that stupid party. Instead of sneaking out you should have just told me” She explained

I felt bad.

“Megan, how can I make it up to you?”

“I don’t know..”

Then I got an idea.

“I don’t think you-“ Megan started

I cut her off and pressed my lips to hers.

Megan’s POV

His lips were warm on my. It took me by surprise. I was not expecting the kiss. Before I could react he pulled away.

“I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done that. I can’t believe-“He started but I put my hand on his arm.

“It’s fine. You shouldn’t be sorry” I said and leaned in and pecked his cheek.

I got up and walked towards the door.

“So does that mean you forgive me?” Blake asked

“Oh no you still need to make it up to me.” I said and walked out the door.

I went downstairs and plopped down on the couch and put on a movie. Partway through the movie Blake came down and sat beside me.

“Hey, I need to go out for a bit but I should be back soon” He told me

“ Are you going to tell me where you’re going?” I asked

“Nope” he said and kissed me on the cheek and walked out.

After the movie ended I was in the kitchen making a snack when the doorbell rang.

I opened the door and there stood Amber with her makeup case and a dress bag.

“Oh no what are you doing?” I asked as she pulled me upstairs.

“You have a place to be and I’m here to help you get ready” she said sitting me down in a chair.

“And where might that be?” I asked suspiciously.

“That’s for me to know and you to find out” she said and continued getting everything set up.

3 hours later Amber had curled my hair and pulled half of it up. My makeup was simple but pretty. I had on a maroon dress with a simple bow tied around my waist.

“Time to go” Amber said handing me a pair of black heels and pushing me out the door.

Out front of the house was a black limo. I was getting really confused as to what was going on.

I got in the limo and the long drive began. After 20 minutes I was getting restless. Soon after the limo stopped and my door was opened.

When I got out I saw Aaron in a suit.

“Hey Aaron what’s going on?” I asked

“See for yourself” He said pointing to my right.

When I looked I couldn’t believe my eyes.

There was Blake standing in front of a beautiful waterfall in a black tuxedo holding a dozen roses. An isle had been created from red rose petals on the ground. I walked towards Blake who had a huge smile on this face.

“Blake what’s-“I started

“I told you I was going to make it up to you and here it goes” Blake said handing me the roses.

“Megan I know we have had our differences but these past few weeks have been amazing. I am so sorry for everything I have done to you in the past. I promise in the future to do everything it takes to make you happy. Megan will you go to the dance with me?” Blake finished

I’m pretty sure my mouth was hanging open for a whole 3 minutes. Who knew Blake Woods could be so romantic.

“Yes. I would love to go to the dance with you” I said with a huge smile on my face.

Blake picked me up and spun me around in a circle before placing his lips on mine. This time I didn’t hesitate to kiss back.

When Blake put me down he grabbed my hand and pulled me over to where a table and 2 chairs had be set up.

“How did you have time to do all this?” I asked in astonishment

“I have my ways” he said smiling

“By the way did I tell you how beautiful you look” Blake told me and I felt my cheeks heat up and turn red.

“Come on let’s eat” Blake said pulling out my chair for me.
