Annabeth POV

I ran as fast as I could towards Cabin 3.

I was working on Architecture designs when I heard a pained cry. I quickly ran towards it.

Percy was on the bed writhing about.
He look so vulnerable and weak at that point.

"Percy! Wake up!!" I shook him gently to wake him up.

He shot up quickly and look around the cabin with alert and eyes, he relaxed when he saw no one was there, until he saw me and quickly dove under his blanket.

"Percy..." I said in my gentlest voice.

"Go away! You're gonna hurt me like Smelly Gabe!" He cried out, it was muffled due to the blanket.

"Percy I won't hurt you..." I said comfortingly, coaxing him to come out from under the blanket.

"Can you tell me what he did to you...?" I asked slowly, not wanting him to panic.

"H-He would ask me to go out and buy beer and sometimes he would send me off with a suitcase to give to someone in exchange for another. He would hit me with the empty bottles. But he never hurt my mom so it's fine." he said lifting his shirt a little to show me his scars.

I widened my eyes in horror, Percy always seemed to have an awesome childhood, yet here he was saying how horrible his childhood was. I could not help but feel sorry.

"Oh Percy! We won't hurt you like that, none of us will!" I said, hugging him.

I carried him off and left him in the care of the Aphrodite Cabin and went to tell Chiron what she had heard.

Time skippppppppppppppppppppp🍪

"We need to alert the gods about this." Chiron said, he did not expect his student to have such a horrible childhood.

At Olympus
3rd Person POV

"Poor Potato Janitor."

"I regret messing up his love life now..."

"Poor Perce"

"My poor son..."

"I still hate that sea scum but he had a rough childhood, I respect him for that."

"So it's true, most men are horrible."

The gods were thinking about what Chiron had said, they felt sorry for the young hero, he had gone through a lot.

Poseidon was delighted, not by the abuse of course, but the fact his son was a kid again. He could make up for lost time by spending time with him now.
