Mistake: a Matthew Gray Gubler one shot

"It was dark, I went to a bar after the argument we had and it just happened. I- I don't know how. But I just woke up seeing this random woman laying next to me naked in our bed" he said while pacing around the room. "I-I swear it didn't mean anything" he ran his hands through his hair. I felt my eyes water. I was angry, I was sad, but I was mostly heart broken. "Every time we argue you just don't go out and cheat" I said while tears ran down my cheeks. "We're supposed to make this relationship work Matthew. We've had arguments before. I get it you were angry and sad but that-" I wiped my tear away
"-that doesn't excuse the fact that you slept with another woman" while saying those last three words my heart broke into a million pieces. "No no don't cry, please. I didn't mean to hurt you. It was a mistake. A  little fucking stupid mistake. It didn't mean anything, I swear" he said while grabbing my hands. We were both crying In each other's arms. "I- I can't be with you right now Matthew. I believe you, I just need time to think" he wiped my tears away " I know princess, I'm sorry. It was a mistake. Just know that I love you" "I love you too" I responded, with that I walked out of the house.
