Tuesday, 8:30 A.M.
I woke up to a text from Carter. It kinda made my day a little, mainly because I've been waiting for something that will get D's shooting out of my mind.
Carter: Good Morning. :)
Me: Hey, Good Morning. :)
Carter: How you feeling?
Me: I feel tired, but I'm fine. You?
Carter: I'm fine. Do you want to meet for breakfast?
Me: Sure, you can meet at my place. Howard Towers, Apartment A13.
Carter: Okay, I will see you in a few! Bye, Jeremy.
Me: Lol, bye Carter.
I don't know what it is, but something about him makes me excited about our meeting for breakfast. I got up and brushed my teeth and straighten up myself. I turned on my local morning news and patiently waited for Carter to come.
*20 Minutes Later*
*Ding! Dong!*
"Hey Carter! Good to see you." I smiled.
"Hey, it's good to see you too. I brought IHOP, I hope you like it." he smiled.
"Oh, I love IHOP. Well, come on in, make yourself feel like home." I said.
Carter's P.O.V.
I gotta say, Jeremy has a really nice place. He is also very attractive. Every since I met him at the party, I really couldn't stop thinking about him. I had to go ahead and text him later on that night to have a decent convo. It turned out, it wasn't a good time to talk. lol.
"You want some orange juice? Cranberry? Milk?" he asked.
"I'll take some orange juice." I replied.
I have a successful career on the way and I'm not far from starting it. I just got signed with this record label called, GoMoney Entertainment. They already placed me at a recording company, but I won't start making my album until January. They placed me at a recording studio called, 808 Productions. They said that the producer there is very good and has earned twice as more Grammy's than any other music producer in the state of Georgia. I can't wait to meet him.
Jeremy's P.O.V.
Something about Carter just makes me smile. He's very kind, so generous, and to top it off, his smile is to die for. As we were eating our breakfast we began our conversation.
"So, how's your career going?" I asked.
"It's going pretty good. I have to attend a lot of meetings in Pearl, MS next month, which means, I'll be leaving pretty soon. I don't even know how long they will keep me over there." he said.
"Aww...well, I hope everything turns out good. When are you leaving?" I asked.
"Next week. The day after Thanksgiving." he replied.
"Wow, that's really soon. Will I be able to talk to you?" I asked.
"Of course. We might FaceTime every once in a while." he replied.
"Okay. So what are you doing today?" I said.
"Nothing. I'm all free. You?" he asked.
"I'm actually free too. I'm off for the rest of this week." I said.
"That's wassup. I was thinking, maybe you wanna hang out today?" he said.
"Yeah, I would like that." I smiled.
After we had our breakfast, we cleaned up and I helped him gather his things to go. Our little breakfast was so nice. I could have those with him almost everyday. Lol.
"I really enjoyed my breakfast with you." he said.
"I enjoyed you too." I smiled.
"Cool. Can I pick you up around 12 or 1 today?" he asked.
"Sure. I'll be ready then. But where exactly are we going?" I asked.
"Let's just say, we're going for a little walk." he replied. "I'll see you later."
