That night Harry had had a dream like never before. So vivid he could feel the wind and the sting of the rain against his skin as he stood in what looked like a temple. It was huge with columns as high as the astronomy tour and floors of marble, the rain and wind thrashed through it like a hurricane. Suddenly, a flash of lighting blinded him causing to raise his arm to cover his eyes and when he pulled it back down three figures stood in the shadows. Harry squinted making out three beings, each of them where tall, muscular like gods and had an aura that gave him goosebumps. Then in the shadows all three opened their eyes. Brown, green and blue.

"Harry, you alright?" Harry jolted up causing Ron to jump back in surprise. While Harry caught his breath, trying to weave what he had seen into a logical explanation but all logic evaded him.

"Bloody hell Harry! You scared me, did you have a nightmare?" Harry could only nod. After a while the two of them began to dress up and went about their day like normal, except Harry who could help feeling a foreboding sense that something was going to happen today. He felt it in his bones.

TIME SKIP TO DINNER THAT NIGHT

"Oh come on Harry, forget about it. You haven't stopped thinking about it the whole day." Ron nudged Harry's plate closer but Harry could only stare at it, the feeling in his stomach so heavy by now that he felt he might vomit pure iron.

"What's wrong Harry? You look rather pale?" Hermione asked concerned, Harry simply shrugged not feeling brave enough to open his mouth in case it all came spilling out.

"He had a nightmare last night. " Ron leant closer to Hermione, whispering. "Left him quite shaken so give him time will ya?" Hermione nodded understandingly and the two of them proceeded to retell their day excitedly, helping Harry forget about the dream.

As they where chatting animatedly, McGonnagal called for everyones attention. Reluctantly, the chatting stopped and by then Dumbledore had made his way to the front, his face was unreadable.

"My apologise for interrupting your conversations however I have very exciting news to give you." He then proceded to dim the lights with just his hands, Harry could feel everyone's full attention turn to Dumbledore who was only visible thanks to the moonlight coming in from the glass window behind him.

"Many, many centuries ago in a time before witches and wizards were even born. Magic existed alongside other powerful forces in the universe...gods. As some of you may know, Greek mythology is one the oldest mythologies, however" He paused dramatically, the twinkle in his eyes bright as everyone listened like children listening to ghost stories. "These are not myths."

"That's impossible, how could magic and gods exist at the same time?" Hermione whispered quietly to Harry incredulously but Dumbledore had already began explaining

"Now, now let me explain. The great gods of Olympus are real along with their monsters and creatures. This also means that their children, demigods are also real. They are very powerful and dangerous beings with ancient magic running through their godly veins." Murmurs kept breaking out specially between the muggle borns.

"Demigods? Greek mythology?" Ron asked confused, his brows so knitted together they looked like a unibrow. "Hermione please explain, you are the smart one after all."

"For once, Ron, I don't know." Harry and Ron turned their heads to look at her, so fast Hermione could have sworn she heard them crack but she ignored them. Dumbledore with a look quieted the Hall.

"And just how there is a school for witches and wizards, there is a place for them. A camp, in fact. After much talk and diplomacy and rather a lot of Frank Sinatra records, the camp director Chiron and I have liaised in order to give 5 of his pupils the chance to experience magic."

The hall broke into confused whispers, muggle-borns buzzed with excitement.  But the majority where too stunned to speak.

"And with that I ask you to join me in welcoming the demigods of Camp Half Blood!" He pointed his hand towards the main door which banged open and at the same time the fire lamps roared to life causing Draco and many others to jump in surprise.

The whole Hall was turned towards the door, watching as four figures stepped out of the shadows and into the light.
