''Daph, samahan mo ako mamaya sa student government office'' nagulat ako dahil bigla akong inakbayan ni Evie

''what rule did you break now?'' I furrowed my eyebrows

''dress code'' she smiled like a kid 

''balot na balot  ka naman ah'' she was wearing her denim jacket over her uniform

''my skirt is too short'' she pointed at her skirt

''okay, ba't masyadong maiksi yan?'' tinaasan ko siya ng kilay

''I ran out of back ups''

''what do you mean you ran out?''

''yung isa naiwan sa inyo, tapos yung pangalawa nawala ng kapatid ko, this is what I have'' she turned and gave me an annoying smile

''oh, eh ba't ako pinapasama mo?'' tinaasan ko siya ng kilay 

''hindi ko kilala kung sino yung bagong president'' she gave me an akward smile

''hindi mo na ka vibes kaya nagpapasama kana?''

she nodded ''thanks babe mwa'' after that she ran off

I shook my head at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.

''Daphne Aela Alvarez, please proceed to the fucking door right now'' I saw Evie by the door holding her bag and a piece of paper 

''Your mouth Ms. Montanez'' one of my classmate said and glared at her

''it's right here, gusto mo ng kiss?'' she pointed at her mouth 

I grabbed my bag and pushed her lightly palabas baka ano pang away maidulot nitong si Evie naglakad kami patungo sa student government's office, habang siya sinesermonan sa loob ako naman tamang hintay lang sa labas, and while waiting I saw a familiar face afar hindi ko pa masyadong ma recognize malabo  pa yung mata ko sa kaka gadget ko to jusko, It was Ash he immedietly smiled at me nung napansin niyang na recognize ko na siya 

''anong ginagawa ng isang Elvisian dito sa Jimenez?''  tinaasan ko siya ng kilay 

''visiting an important person'' he leaned on the wall next to me

''sino?'' ako naman tong parang gaga nag aasume

''pinsan ko. the president'' he looked at me ''ikaw? did you get in trouble?'' 

''si Evie'' maikling sagot  ko

''can I know kung anong problem?''

'' freaking dress code'' I chuckled

maya maya din ay lumabas na si Evie, nakasimangot pa

''let's go home'' she didn't look at me

''oh, sure'' I looked at her then at Ash

he raised both his brows ''i'll message you later'' he smiled then pumasok sa loob ng office, lumingon ako kay Evie, she looked sad parang may namatay. I didn't want to ask yet baka mas Lalo lang siyang malulungkot, ng makarating kami sa gate she was still down 

''ayos ka lang?'' I held her hand

she bit her lowerlip and nodded. sa susunod na araw ko nalang siya tatanongin ulit, we went our separate ways and I couldn't stop thinking of Evie, pagdating ko sa bahay agad akong nagbihis at  inopen ang phone ko
