Chapter four-🦋The auditions🦋

I walked into the auditorium early because I was told by Cleo that I was to have a meeting with Carlos and Ms. Jenn. "Auditions start in 15 minutes sweetie." Ms. Jenn started. "oh sorry, I'm not auditioning, for a roll at least. I'm Ally Coleson. Cleo Sammy told you about me." i said. "oh right your here to help with choreography. I'm Carlos." the boy said with a bright smile. I return the smile and the boy leads me to the stage. "Okay show me what you got." He said. I looked at him confused. "Your dancing?" He said. "Oh, right, haha." I said. I then showed him my dancing. (I haven't done dance since I was 6 so idk what to say lol). "That was good, you're hired! Or you got the part?" Ms. Jenn said. "Welcome to the team Ally." Carlos said. Carlos and I practiced choreography for one of the songs for maybe 10 minutes when the auditorium started flooding with teens eager to audition for the play. Among the students were EJ and Nini. I watched them line up to get numbered and then go backstage to get ready. It was about 15 minutes later when ms. Jenn went backstage to get everyone to start auditions. I noticed Cleo walking out with the rest of the students so I waved and she waved back. Then the warmups began. Carlos and I walked the students through the steps and they did what we did back. "Yes, nice job one!" Carlos said and nudged me to get my attention. One was referring to Gina Porter, she was in my English class. She was really good at the dancing. Ms. Jenn took notice of this. The students did the big finish. "Great, that's it for the warm up!" Carlos said. "Hood job guys!" I followed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Nini and EJ talking. She looked nervous, I felt bad a bit. "Everyone pair up, not with a friend theatre is a community." Ms. Jenn said. Me and Carlos gave each other the same 'huh?' Type look. The students group off, and get ready. "And we're back!" Ms Jenn said.

Ms. Jenn started assigning roles to the students. "You are auditioning for?.." she asked when she approached Cleo. "Um, Sharpay." She said shyly. (Seb will still play Shapay, don't worry) she nodded and moved on down the line handing out scripts to the students assigning roles. "And... how 'bout we have you read for... Kelsey." She said to Nini. Ouch major kick to the stomach. She looks at EJ for comfort. "Gabriella, I wanna audition for Gabriella." Nini said. "Ok" Ms. Jenn said and moved on. We moved onto the actual auditions now. We got through all of the characters and now it was Nini'a turn to audition. "Am I too late? Am I too late?" We here from behind us. Oh god it's Ricky. He's holding his guitar case and running as fast as he could. "We're all set on Troys but we're low on Chads, you can audition after our Gabriellas." Ms. Jenn said. "I- I only studied the Troy scenes, in the movie." Ricky said. "Troy would've arrived on time." Carlos said. "Actually Troy was late in the movie" Cleo said, everyone turned there attention to the girl then turned back to Ricky. "Ok Nini, lets try this again." Ms. Jenn said. "You got this babe, Woo!" EJ yelled causing Ms. Jenn to spill her cup all over the light system. And if things couldn't get any worse, the lights went out causing some chatter around the auditorium. Great job EJ. "Nobody panic! Nini, wait for the lights to come back on I don't want this to throw you." Ms. Jenn said. "I'm not thrown," Nini said. One song sung by the beautiful voice of Nini Salazar-Roberts, and one epic flash light war later, It was Rickys turn to audition. I saw my cousin walk in and give Ricky a thumbs up, Ricky then looked at me, ME, for encouragement. I gave him a confused face and a thumbs up. He slightly chuckled before taking a deep breath and starting. "Hey there, my name is Ricky Bowen, I'm a junior, and uh... here it goes." Ricky said. "Total wild card here." Carlos said. Ricky said his lines and it was time for him to sing. "If you don't mind I actually kind of prepared my own song." Ricky said. "Sure." Ricky ran over to Red to get his guitar. "You got this Rick!" I shouted mimicking EJ from before. I got a couple laughs but mainly angry stairs especially from EJ, Nini, and Kourtney. Ricky cleared his throat and started singing a song that I hadn't heard before. "What song is that, was it from the movie?" I asked Cleo who had a shocked look on her face. "It's the song Nini wrote to say I love you to Ricky" she replied still shocked. Oh my GOD. He was confessing his love to her, NOW? I felt bad for Nini. This day couldn't any worse.

Well I spoke to soon. Nini got he part of Gabriella. I know what your thinking, how is that bad, Well EJ didn't get the role of Troy, Richard Bowen did. And Cleo didb't get the role of Sharpay, but instead she got Sharpay's understudy and Martha. At least she has one solo in stick to the statis quo. As we, or more like I, walked home trailing behind Ricky and Red skating, I contemplated all life decisions, Why was I born. Seems like what I thought to be a boring town was one full of drama.

YAY auditions are done and I finally posted the next part. Sorry for taking so long I've been working on something else, teehee. K see you guys lator.
