A different Pokemon world

It started so small

Our story begins with Dr. Yung's wife giving birth to their now fourth child.

"It's a healthy baby girl!"
Exclaimed the doctor in excitement.
When they where handed their baby Dr. Yung's wife asked.
"What should we name her honey?"
"We'll name her Sora so she can always feel like she's soaring through the air as we lift her."
They both smiled with glee and where both so happy.

When Sora was able to come home her big brother Lance was exited to see her for the first time but her oldest brothers didn't really care they where more concerned with their gangs to worry about their family.

Sora's mother was giving her a bath when all of a sudden leafs kept popping into her bath she couldn't tell why and then she saw Sora shoot fire from her hand, in shock Sora's mother didn't say a thing about it, she wanted to keep it a secret until it went away, she never even told her husband who was working on figuring out why some humans turn into Pokemon, she knew this would never go well if he found out so she hid it from him.

It had been several months since Sora's birth and Dr. Yung had never watched her but while Lance was out and Dr. Yung's wife needed to leave to the market to get some food to cook she forced Dr. Yung to watch his daughter while she was out.

Dr. Yung had set her on a table in his lab while he worked so she wouldn't get into trouble.
Dr. Yung's lab had dim lights and paper all over the floor but what caught Sora's eye was three containment tubes with a Charmander, Squirtle, and a Bulbasaur in them since her father wants paying attention to her she wanted to play with the Pokemon so she used bubbles from bubble beam, leafs from razor leaf, and little bits of fire from ember to get there attention by throwing them at the containers,
When Dr. Yung heard a pop sound he turned around to see his daughter using Pokemon powers.
He was memorized by the things she was doing and he wanted to test how much more she could do.

Dr. Yung tested her for weeks until he needed to stop and get some data on his research which is when he would have Lance baby sit his sister who he wasn't to fond of any more cause she was taking up all their parents time.
They where sitting on the couch in their living room watching a movie,
Lance was about 8 and can't wait to go on his adventure with his fiends,
So they where watching tv when Sora just said. "L-Lance, Lance!"
He got so exited she said her first word and it was his name, he picked her up and ran all the way to his dads lab and knocked on the door and when Dr. Yung opened it to see his kids he sighed.

"Yes what is it? Did she poop or something?"
"No dad, she said my name! It was her first word!"
Dr. Yung was exited but he had a weird feeling in the back of his head Lance had asked dad to hold her while he goes and calls mom to tell her the exiting news, of course he said yes and watched his son run down the hall and slipped back into the lab.

Dr. Yung took a piece of Sora's hair to test her to see if she was getting smarter, she wasn't even a year old and she could talk, it made him worry something was wrong.
He was right, she was getting smarter at a very fast rate which wasn't the problem but the problem was she was loosing her Pokemon powers and he didn't know why.

"Dammit, no not now not when I'm so close!"
He slammed his hand on his desk in anger and then dropped his head down as well, he felt lost and didn't know what to do when he turned to the sleeping Pokemon in the containment tubes and his eyes widened, he put a big smile on his face and rushed over to take some DNA from the three Pokemon and he put it in a needle and then turned slowly to Sora who was just looking around his lab as if she hadn't been there before,
He crept up to her whispering.
"This won't hurt a bit sweet..."

He covered her mouth with his hand and stuck the needle into her arm giving her the Pokemon DNA,
She started to fall but he caught her,
As he was bouncing her around in his arms he thought (why don't I make a Pokemon instead if trying to fix the ones that turn into them!)

The very next day he went to a very old friend of his to ask his opinion on his idea but his friend was distraught and told him not to even mention it telling him he could get fired but Dr. Yung didn't want to hear it, he thought it would be better this way, to make the strongest Pokemon instead of having to go through endless hours of training he thought. (why not cut the middle man! And go my own way!)

But it wasn't as he hoped, his idea was rejected and declined, he was revoked and fired cause they saw him unfit to be a Pokemon professor any longer, Dr. Yung fell into a dark dark place that he couldn't pick himself up from and that's when he got the call that changed Sora's life.

Dr. Yung was at Team Rockets HQ meeting Giovani with Sora in his arms who is already a year old now.
"Dr. Yung! He's ready to see you now." The woman at the front desk called on him and he grabbed all his things in excitement and walked in.

"Ah hello Dr. Yung, please take a seat."
"Thank you sir."
Dr. Yung sat Sora in a chair next to him as he started his pitch.

"You see sir, people want to find out why humans are turning into Pokemon but I have found out a way to turn humans into Pokemon with Pokemon DNA." Giovani glanced over at Dr. Yung's daughter who seems as interested in her fathers work as he was.
"Are you using your daughter as your test subject?"
"Oh uhm...yeah but it's-"
"Dr. Yung, even I have standards."
Dr. Yung could see the gross look in Giovani's eye's just like the professors had.
"Please just let me show you, these test's have made her ten times smarter than any other child her age!"
No matter what Dr. Yung said Giovani wasn't listening and was dismissing him but Dr. Yung wasn't leaving, not this time, not again.
Giovani called in security to take him away but Dr. Yung wasn't going with out a fight. "Just please let me show you what she can do! Please!"
As Dr. Yung was being dragged out the doors he kept yelling. "Sora do the thing for daddy!" She didn't want to cause she knows she can't control it but when one of the security guards came and picked her up she got scared and attacked him with hydro pump.
Not only was Giovani surprised he quickly called Dr. Yung back in to see what he saw.

"Tell her to do...the thing again..."
"O-okay, Sora sweetie go a head and do what you did before okay?"
He tried to sound as sweet to not scare her and she used hydro pump and blasted the guard against the wall.

"I-It's coming out if her hand..."
"Yes it is, sir she's using the water in her body to come out of her pores and become a blast. She can use fire with the air around her and create leaves and vines from her own body, she regenerates so it doesn't hurt her!"

Giovani had a deep dark look in his eyes and his mouth crept into a slight smile that turned to an evil grin very fast, as he turned to Dr. Yung he reached out his hand to shake his for an agreement and Dr. Yung finally had his chance to make his dream come true, to make a Pokemon with his own hands, he was ecstatic and got to work in the following week, telling his wife lies to keep her from finding out what he was doing to their daughter but she was suspicious because he would take her to work with him every time he could and when he would change her diaper it would take longer then expected, she got curiouser and curiouser by the minute.
