Dimitri and Jai'nia

Chapter six

            Jai heart was racing as she stood in the waiting room waiting for the doctors to give her an update on Dimitri and Prince. "Calm down sis they gone be okay." Enzo said as he looked at her leg shake and tears come down her face. "I know Prince is okay but what about Dimitri? He was shot seven times protecting my son! What if he's not okay?" She asked crying more tears. "Aye he did that because that little boy? Is his heart. He love that boy to pluto and back probably to another galaxy. He took them seven bullets so Princeton wouldn't have to take one. The same way he trying to eliminate all his enemies so Prince dont have to have one. He want out but like they say its easy to get in but hard to get out. He laid his life down on the line because he loves you. Calm down and be strong for my brother." He said making her look in his eyes. She sniffled and nodded. She saw how he had no doubt in his eyes and that made her feel ten times better listening to his words. She wiped her eyes and blowed her nose and waited for the doctor slightly calmed down. 

      "Family of Prince Santos and Dimitri Santos?" A police officer asked walking up to them. Jai stood up inhaling. "That would be my son and my husband how may I help you?" She asked sizing him up and down. "We don't want no problems. Just asking questions. Do you know why somebody would do this to your husband? Is he dealing with anything illegal or are you involved in anything illegal?" He asked her silently  and she scoffed and  sat down. "You asking me why would somebody shoot at a man while he spending time with his son? Why do white people hate black people? Why do cops lock up all them young black boys thats just trying to survive the streets that nine times out of ten you pigs made them get in. Killing their fathers. Beating their mothers. for no fucking reason! Im sorry officer but Ima say this in the nicest way possible unless you black man or woman that can relate to my pain without judging me like you are now im not talking to you. You a pig and we aint feeling cops." She said in the coldest way possible. The dead look in her eyes mad him nod at her. "Well here my car incase you want to tell me something." He said handing her a card she ripped up. He walked away and laughter broke out around her. 

       She looked up and saw a elder woman with pretty light brown hair and grey eyes like Dimtri standing beside Monroe next to her was a elder man with dark brown eyes and the height of 6'5 curly hair and in all black clothes. They woman wore a black dress and some fuzzy slippers. Next to them was a girl about the age of 21 she had the same eyes as the man and was beautiful like the woman her light brown skin a tad darker than the woman. She had box braids and wore a crop top and ripped jeans. "¿Es la novia de Dimitri Enzo?" The woman asked (is this Dimitri girlfriend?) and Enzo chuckled. "Sí señora, es fiesty, ¿eh?" He responded (Yes ma'am it is fiesty eh?) and the woman nodded looking at Jai. "¿Habla español?" She asked (She speak Spanish?) and Jai chuckled slightly. "Sí, señora. ¿Yo soy Jai'Nia y tú?" Jia added in (Yes ma'am I do. Im Jai'Nia and you?) putting her head out to shake. The woman seemed taken back. 

        "I'm Sophia. Dimitri's mother." She smiled at Jai hugging her. "Nice to meet you." Jai said forcing a smile on her face. A part of her couldn't smile because of the pain she was feeling. "I'm Leonardo his father you can call me Pops." The man said smiling hugging her too. "Im his little sister Isabella. You can call me Izzy." The girl said hugging her slightly and Jai nodded. She wondered why Dimitri never spoke on his family but didn't wanna say anything. "Family of Princeton Santos and Dimitri Santos?" A doctor asked and Jai stepped towards her first. "That would be me." She said and they doctor looked at her. "What relations do you have with them?" The doctor asked and Jai almost got her shit. "Their my son and my husband can you tell me what the fuck is going on?" She asked snapping and the doctor nodded. "Your son is perfectly fine. He got a super daddy. Your husband is in recovery. He slipped for a minute but we got him back he's waking up now." She said smiling a little too hard when she said super daddy. "Bitch! I- Never mind can I see my family please?" She asked biting her tongue causing the doctor to look at her sideways. "Yes you can." She said with an attitude. 

      "Okay great what room is my son in?" She asked snatching the clip board from her. "Ma'am you can not do that." The woman said reaching for the clipboard and Jai moved her hand back. "Watch it nurse." She said looking for the room numbers. "Excuse me but you can not do that." She said and Jai scoffed once she got the room numbers she threw the clip board at her. "Super daddy that bitch." She said as it hit her in the lip. Monroe and Enzo busted out laughing. "Here man she just mad right now, Go clean ya self up." Enzo said handing the nurse a napkin and 200 hundred dollars. 

      Jai walked in and saw Dimitri standing over Prince on crunches and in some new clothes. He had on some simple black jeans and a black shirt holding on the poll where his iv cords where hooked to. "Dimitri. What are you doing your not supposed to be moving around" She said running to him and he chuckled and lifted his shirt up and she saw bandages on his chest and that's it. "I always wear a vest. I only got shot in the chest because it moved when I jumped back on top of Prince. I Came in here to make sure he was okay." He said and she laughed. "Bae. He okay. See. He just like his daddy. Strong and a fighter. Now come on lets get you back in bed. I see your leg." She said placing her hand on his torso smiling as tears came down her face. 

   "I'm okay baby stop crying. I'm just watching over him. And my leg down hurt that bad. Do me a favor and get Enzo and Monroe for me." He said sitting down next to a sleeping Prince. She nodded and kissed him and walked away to get them.
