“We’re moving?” Bakugou asks his mom with a confused expression. Mitsuki lets out a short sigh and nods her head as she adds more cheese to the macaroni and cheese.
“Yes we’re moving, I got offered a new job and this one pays way better,” Bakugou shrugs his shoulders and sits back down in his chair. Mitsuki didn't hate the thought of moving but the last time that Bakugou asked to move because of the kids at school bullying him all she told Bakugou to do was to man up. “Didn't you want to move?” Bakugou nods his head.
“Yeah but I thought it would never happen,” she laughs loudly while clicking off the timer on the stove.
“Well now it is, I want to be moved out by next month so you better get to packing up your shit,” Bakugou rolls his eyes at her words, He knew damn well that she was saying that she wanted to be out as soon as possible.
Bakugou was all for moving and getting out of his stupid ass town but leaving the house that he grew up in didn’t sit too well with him. He shakes his head to get those thoughts out of his head. Bakugou was going to get to leave his shit school, that was more than fine with him.
He wasn’t bullied but he was for sure looked down on. Most of the people from school forced him to do their homework or to tell the teacher a lie about why they weren't in class that day. Bakugou was a teacher pet, people used this as an advantage. He never really had friends at his school anyway so maybe moving would give him the chance to make some.
“Dinners ready,” Mitsuki says while getting a glass of water for herself. He gets up and makes himself his own plate before sitting back down and digging in. Bakugou was glad that his mom wasn’t shit at cooking.
Bakugou tries no to think too much about going to a new school he focuses on moving first. If anything Bakugou’s new school life will be just as boring as the one he currently has. As soon as dinner ends Bakugou goes up to his room to begin on the homework that he was assigned to do. His assignment wasn't too hard but it was due tomorrow and he hasn't done much on it yet. It would take him an hour at most to be able to fully finish the assignment.
Bakugou works in his room quietly for the next hour and a half. As soon as he finished the paper he went and laid down on his bed to think. He planned to pack up most of his things tomorrow. His night went by fast and before he even realized it was the next day.
He went to school how he normally does but said nothing to anyone about moving away. Most of his teachers were already informed that he would be moving so most of them said their goodbyes. It wasn’t like they cared about Bakugou, most teachers ignored the blonde.
Bakugou’s day at school went by quickly and as soon as he got through his front door after school he went straight to his room to begin packing up his things. His mom had already bought boxers so he grabbed a few before going into his room.
Bakugou lets out a sigh as he looks around his room lost in his thoughts. It was probably a good idea to pack up the things that he doesn't use every day. He grabs a small box and heads over to his small bookshelf that was in the corner of his room.
He grabs various books and begins to put them in the box with care. Bakugou liked reading, it was his favorite thing to pass the time. So he made sure that both of the boxes that he filled up with books were nicely put on his floor with the word ‘book’ sharpied on the top of them.
Bakugou didn't really like packing but he found it cool that he got to see some stuff that he hasn't seen in a while. He was lucky that his bookshelf was small, it only took him a few minutes to fully finish putting every book in a box.
The sound of small clicks and footsteps could be heard from Bakugou’s mom’s room. She was always a very clean person so Bakugou knew that she would finish packing everything before Bakugou.
