"You ready to go dude?" I called out to my partner. I waited for them outside, taking advantage of the short amount we had before their dad returns from doing god-knows-what.
"Give me a minute, I need to find where I hid my flags" they replied from inside their house.
"Need any help?" I replied. I'm pretty good at finding things, or so I've been told. When I was younger, my family went to Disney World and my baby sister lost her tooth at Epcot, but she dropped it and everyone thought she swallowed it. That is, until I found it in the grass. Heck, I'm rambling again.
Me and my partner, Leo, are going to a pride parade; something both of us are certain that their dad would kill them for attending. See, their dad isn't the most... supportive of people.
"Found them!" I heard Leo say as they opened up the door, carrying a giant pan flag and a small non binary flag.
"Where did you even get those?"
"It's a secret haha"
The sun was hot and glaring as me and Leo begun to walk away from my house.
"Are you sure we don't need an umbrella Mist? I'm dying out here!" Leo said while sweating immensely.
I sighed, "well maybe you need to wear something than an oversized hoodie all the time!" I giggled as Leo gave me a cold dead stare.
"You're wearing one too! It's not my fault I have all this fur" they said, furrowing their brows jokingly.
"yeah, i know, Im just joking with ya." We begin to head to the car, Leo now has their hoodie around their waist.
