Chapter 14 - Missing My Love

Kenny's POV

Y/N hadn't picked up the phone or responded to my texts all day, It was already 4pm...

Worry filled my head.

What if something happened to Y/N?

I picked up the phone and tried again

No answer....

I texted Stan and Kyle just in case.

Kenny: Guys? Have any of you
Heard from Y/N today?

Kyle: No

Stan: No, has something happened?

Kenny: Fuccck.Y/N hasn't
replied or picked up the phone

Kyle: And We're all snowed in.

Stan: Go check on them.

I put my phone down and threw my orange coat on.

I snuck past my parents and ran to
Y/Ns House

I forced the window open and climbed through.

Shock flowed through my body

The alarm clock was smashed to bits.

Books thrown all over the floor with some pages torn out.

Claw marks on the walls

The bed sheets were all over the place.

Blood splatters on the pillow....

I dropped to the floor and felt tears fall down my cheeks.

I rubbed my eyes and stumbled to my feet.

I dashed through the snow back home.

My face felt cold as I ran.

I pulled out my Mysterion costume and narrowed my eyes.

'I failed to protect you. But now I will save you.' I whispered, tightening my grasp.

Im waiting for night to fall...

The sun had finally set.

I threw my jacket to my bed and got into my costume.

Just as I finished putting on my Cape I looked to my phone.

Should I tell the freedom pals?

I shouldn't really be going on a mission alone.

Especially if he may be involved

I scrambled out of my window and made my way to a place where I could see the whole town.

I observed the small cluster of buildings while my cape flowed in the wind.

I thought long and hard about where Y/N could be. There was two places.

But his lair was too obvious.

Nobody had been to the other place since I was eight...

The thought of being there sent shivers down my spine.

The memories of that place made my brain hurt.

All the times my blood was shed in there AND NOBODY REMEMBERED!

I took a step back from the ledge of the building... I gripped my chest and took a deep breath..

I felt water stream down my cheeks at the mere thought of everything.

I screamed into my hands and let the tears fall.

Whenever I thought of Y/N I felt cold shivers fill my body.

Y/N was everything I'd ever wanted And I wasn't there to protect them!

I struggled to get up, but I stood tall, water staining my cheeks.

'I will save you... I promise'
