Mattia took me to the cafeteria everyone was staring at us
" hey matti why is everyone staring at us "
" oh that's because juvie is kinda like school you have the bad kids that are popular which is me and then the kids that fear you then the kids that want to be you "
I let out a small " oh " confused what did mattia do to get him in here ?
We reached a table
" Alejandro roshuan this is kairi" " wassup shorty I'm roshuan " I giggled at the name I seen mattia clench his fist why is he mad ? " hi there I'm Alejandro but you can call me ale " he said smiling showing off his dimples I gave him a soft smile
Mattia grabbed my wrist leading me to the other side of the table
He still looked mad " what's wrong " I said no response I sighed to myself he's probably mad about me even Being here hanging out with his friends
I got up from the seat walking away a tad bit
I felt someone grab my wrist and pull me back to the table
" where are you going baby boy " I felt chills go down my back it was mattia " I-I thought you were mad a-at me " i said stuttering my words " never " i felt my heart beat start to quicken as he whispered that into my ear " I-um " I tried moving off his lap to back to the seat next him He pulled my waist down holding me into place " st-stop matti " " stay " he said in a whisper I decided not to argue with him

We were now back in the cell they had us in I went to go lay in the bottom bunk cause that was mine and mattias was the top cause I couldn't reach the top there was no ladder
It was the end of the day I honestly had a busy day I'm tired from the drive I wanted to go to sleep
" kaiiii bubbbb "
" whatttt " I said groaning out the words " can I come down there " " um I- sure " I heard some movements come from the top soon to appear mattia coming down from the top jumping cause it didn't have a ladder I scooted over to make room for him
We both laid flat down on the small twin bed looking up
" hey mattia " " yea kai "
" why do they call you the bad kid around here "
" well I'm I don't mind telling you this stuff cause I already trust you " a small blush crept up on my face I heard him sigh " so before I came here I was getting groomed that's means next in line I was next in line to be the next leader of a drug ring it was one of the biggest ones in the United States my dad said when I turn 18 I take it over and while doing so I had to do certain stuff um nobody knows about this part "

He said in a whisper I felt I felt I don't know how I felt I was fascinated
" one day I had to deliver a big truck of drugs to another facility and I got caught all the men I was with they got caught to but they were grown men so they went to prison and they sent me here "
A bunch of things were crossing my mind
Mattia body shifted towards mine he was now on the side looking at me

I felt my heart ache those words I shifted my body facing him I put my hand on his cheek

There was a moment of silence we were just staring into each other's eyes I looked away from the intensity why I'm I feeling like this ?
" hey bubs if you don't mind me asking what's your story "
" well my story isn't as interesting as yours I'm not sure if you want to here it "
" a course I do I want to know everything about you "
I felt my heart flutter just at the words I shook off the feeling
" let's see so my dad he is a drunkie he would abuse me and my mom was always at work not knowing what's going on trying to make money for us and I had bad depression the only thing making me happy was stealing it helped the depression go into excitement and that's my story "
I said with a little sigh
I turned to mattia he looked mad but sad
" I wish I met you sooner " " I know I do to "
" but umm matti I'm tired " I said yawning
I heard him let out a light chuckle
" ok then go to sleep "
" o-oh " with him still on the bed ?
I turned my body away from him now facing the wall I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist pulling me towards them
I already knew who it was I felt mattia nuzzle his head in the crook of the back of my neck I let out a sigh as I relaxed into his arms slowly drifting off into a comfortable sleep even though this was juvie
I felt comfort in mattias arms he made my heart do back flips my stomach fill with butterflies why I thought ?
Was the only thought left in my mind as I drifted off .
