~ Beach / Insecure ~

Me, Derek, Vallyk, Kobe, and Mike, were at the beach, since that's the only thing, the boys could think of, what to do on a boring Saturday afternoon.
"Kobe, bet you won't be able to get that girls number over there" Mike said, pointing to a VERY gorgeous girl, making me insecure the longer I look at a her.
"Are you dumb? Have you seen him, literally all the girls drool over him" Vallyk said in a 'duh' tone.

"Dude, come on! It won't be that bad!" Derek was trying to get me in the water, basically making me take off my clothes, go in the water half naked, when I'm fucking insecure. Yeah, crazy.
"Can you shut up, I'm not going" I said, sitting on my towel, going on my phone.
Derek rolled his eyes, and went with the rest, in the water.

"You just gonna sit there all day?" Derek asked, as he just came out if the water.
"It's kinda my plan, why?" I turned my phone off, turning my full attention to him.
"Cuz, well, I wanted to do this" Derek hugged me, still soaking wet, from the water.
"What the fuck bro?!" I pushed him off, and took my towel drying me. Derek just giggled, and sat down on his towel.

I decided to push all my insecurities aside, and finally go in the water. By now, all the boys were playing volleyball. I chuckled, and took off my crop-top, then my shorts. Kobe looked over at me, and smiled. He came over to me, and hugged me.
"I'm glad you're, pushing the insecurities away, sis" Kobe was like my older brother, we've been best friends since..7th grade? Yeah, 7th, and I tell him everything. He even knows about my feelings for Derek.
"Shut up, before I change my mind-" I quickly got cut off, as my feet lifted off the sand.
"KOBE, FUCKING MORIS!! PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" I yelled, as I hit his back.

I came up for air, and splashed Kobe in the face. He laughed, then all the boys, came over to us.
"Y/N!!!" I heard Derek yell, from the shallow end. They swam up to me and Kobe, as Derek pulled me into a tight hug.
"I knew this would happen!" He dug his head into me neck. God this boy. I smiled, and hugged back.

We were playing volleyball, Me, Derek, and Vallyk on a team, while Kobe and Mike were on another team. Vallyk, hit the ball, but it landed on our side of the net.
"You dumbass, it's supposed to fall on the OTHER side" I said, hitting the back of his head.
"Sorry" he caressed his head, where I hit him.

I was sitting back down, with my towel wrapped around me, as the boys were doing, God knows what.
"Hey, what's wrong? You've been sitting there, for almost 3 hours with the stupid towel wrapped around you" Derek looked considered, as he sat in front of me.
"Nothing, just go have fun with the boys"
"Tell me what's wrong first" Derek, placed his hands on my shoulders.
"I- I'm in-secure, o-of my bo-body" I said, almost tearing up.
"Hey, hey, it's ok. But comparing yourself to other people, in bad. Look at you, you have such an amazing body, literally, everything is perfect. Not just your looks either, you are perfect. Y/n, I-I like you. I've liked you for a v-very long time. I just didn't know how to tell you, it's ok if you don't feel the sam-" I cut him off, my crashing my lips into his.
"Thought I was the only one" I said pulling away.

"Finally!" Mike said, as the other walked our way. Derek was next to me, his arm around my waist, as I was scrolling through TikTok.
"What?" I looked up, at the others.
"How was it hard to see, that BOTH of you liked each other" Vallyk said.
"He's right, you guys make it so obvious. I mean, Derek flirts with you all the time" Kobe looked at Derek, causing me to look back, and this boy was blushing- HE WAS MOTHER FUCKIN BLUSHINGGGG. He looked so cute🥺. Derek buried his head in my neck, as in embarrassment. I giggled, and played with his hair.
