To anyone who happens to come across this journal, my name is Jotaro Kujo. As I write this, I am 17 and I've just arrived in Egypt. Me and a ragtag bunch of misfits have come from all corners of the world to kill one man by the name of Dio Brando. By a bizarre twist of events, this person is an immortal vampire weak only to sunlight. He was nearly vanquished by my great, great grandfathers hand, but he failed to do so at the cost of his life and body. Dio was trapped for nearly a century when he was discovered and released back into the world and is now pursuing the death of my entire family. Believe me or not, you don't have to care for my sorry ass, but I'm after this man because he's killing my Mom with his evil spirit powers. We call them stands; our whole group has them, even this wierd dog my Gigi found. We're going to use them to beat the shit out of this Dio so I can go home and slack off like I'd normally do.

However.

I'm starting this journal in case we don't make it. In case we don't kill this bastard and the world goes to chaos. But also, I'm starting this because my friend Kakyoin is recovering in the hospital currently. He's my closest friend that I've made on this journey and he's the only one that I've felt comfortable disclosing these things to, but now he's not here. You see, I'm keeping secrets from everyone in this group.

Hello! First off thank you for reading the first entry and checking out this story! I'm beginning this tale during the Oingo Boing episodes where Jotaro is on his lonesome for a while. With his closest friend hospitalized, he sees it fit to pick up a journal to jot down what he can't vent about. I'd have to check again, but a small headcannon is that this journal is the same one he uses in the first episode of part 4 when he bumps into Koichi! Next will be covering the "secret" as well as what happened with N'doul.
