*BEEP BEEP BEEP* I opened my eyes and rolled over turning my alarm off. As i struggled to sit up fully awakened, i heard my moms foot steps getting closer to the door *KNOCK KNOCK* "COME IN" i yelled, "hurry and get ready so you can eat your breakfast and make it to school on time" she said, "ok" I replied. I got up put my house shoes on and made my way to the bathroom. After i took my shower, did my hair, and brushed my teeth, i got dressed and headed downstairs. "Oooh grits and eggs ma" i said excitedly, "Mmhm to go" she said while pointing at the door. *sighs* I grabbed my things and walked out the door and to the car.

The car ride to school was 30 minutes long, and my mom talked the whole way. As we pulled into my new high school my mom looked at me with a smile on her face, " you ready for senior orientation?" She asked "sure" I shrugged out, but really i wasn't ready, i was nervous, new state, new school, new friends, everything is new to me here and I wasn't ready for it. We walked to the office and sat down till they gave everyone instructions. *5 min later* " they're ready for you guys to come in now" one of the office ladies said as she directed us to the stadium. After the orientation they gave everyone there schedule and we headed off the class. I had science first so that's where i went.

I walked into a class full of students, and when i say there was a lot- well maybe I'm over exaggerating a little, anyways, i sat down by a very pretty girl, i think she was light skin but she was pretty maybe we can be friends. "Hi" i said as i waved shyly, "hi, what's your name" she replied "Monet'" "my name is layla if you wanted to know" layla said with confidence. I like her i wonder if i have any other classes with her... well. After science class i had drama club, yes drama club. My mom told me its "something new and different" but hey maybe it is. Layla walked me to my class but she didn't have the same class as i did her class was just down the hall from mine. "I'll see you at lunch... Monet'" "ok same".

Lunch
After drama class i met up with layla so we can go to lunch, " hey, this is my bestfriend Ashley, ashley this is monet'" "hey girl" ashley said to me "hey" I replied with a slight giggle "we are just about to head to lunch, but first we meeting up with chresanto and his friends" layla explained to me. "Who's chres-" before i can finish my question ashley cut me off "Chresanto is my boyfriend, and we are happily married" i looked at her with a confused facial expression but continued to walk. As we walked we met up with a group of boys, I already figured which one was Ashley's boyfriend/husband or whatever she calls him. I then started to stare as this fine mixed Mexican walked up to me. "Sup" he said with a nice tone "....oh... um..hey"i said shyly, "you good girl" layla asked jokingly "uh yea lets go eat". I wonder who he was he was so fine like my goodness. Once we got our lunch we all sat at a table, "new girl where you from" some boy with long braids asked "I'm from florida but just moved here to La, my mom got a new job" i explained "that's wassup" the fine boy said to me. I wonder what his name is without sounding to weird. "So what's yall name" i asked all of them "I'm rayan but my friends call me ray or ray ray" the long haired boy said "I'm Jacob but people call me Princeton" princeton sounds so sexy, " I'm chresanto but you can call me chres or roc" they all introduced themselves and if you want me to be real I couldn't take my eyes off of Princeton or Jacob it doesn't matter right now.

After lunch everyone left... except Jacob, he walked up to me and i felt a rush go through my body "I didn't get your name mamas", MAMAS he said so omg no words "monet" i replied while blushing "well do you have a phone monet" when i tell you i never pulled my phone out that fast ever in my life you wouldn't believe me. "323-455-2056" " damn you just give your number out to strangers like that" he said while laughing, i blushed "maybe, or maybe we dont have to be strangers" i winked and turned to walked off, that was a big Bad ass moment for me. I went in the bathroom to FaceTime my hometown friend cause i was about to pass out "hello"i said out of breath "monet gues-" i cut her off because i already knew she was going to talk about her relationship with her boyfriend Craig or prod whatever floats his boat "you wont believe what i just did" "what" she replied" "this fine ass boy girl... i gave him my number" "i know your fucking lying lemme see" she laughed, i hung up the phone cause I didn't have time for her bull today, i just wanted to get home and miss the rest of school, so that i did it was over in 1hour anyway.
