Harley’s POV

As soon as we got back to the house I was disappointed to find Angel out again. That idiot was going to kill me with stress. I knew he was an assassin and could very well take care of himself but I couldn’t help the way I felt.
The fact that I knew they were people attempting to take his life just got me worried about his safety.
I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to my Angel. I know I sound like a little teenage girl going through her first love but I couldn’t help it.
I thought what I felt for Duke was love but then what I feel for Angel is even more. It was like he was a part of me and losing him would be losing myself.
I have never believed in soul mates until now. Angel completes me and I need him by my side.

“You miss him don’t you?” Dexter’s question brought me back to reality.
“I don’t miss him. I just wish that idiot would listen to me for once and not try to get himself killed” I said in frustration.
“If you say so” Dexter chuckled.
Before I could respond Rocco entered the room.
“Angel is back and is asking for you outside” Rocco said as if irritated.

He must hate being bossed around by Angel. I know he hates him because we are together but I couldn’t be bothered.
Maybe now he would forget about me and move on with his life. I know it sounds harsh but we could never be together. I would have killed him a long time ago.
I needed a man who could handle me and Rocco would have been submissive to me like every other man I had met in the past. I needed an equal and not a coward.

We headed outside to find Angel leaning on a brand new escalade.
“Do you like it?” he asked as he approached me.
“You went out to buy a car?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.
Damn he was so frustrating. He could have bought the car online and had it delivered. He didn’t need to go out and endanger his life.

“Not really but I thought why not” he said before leaning closer to my ear.
“I bought a couple of other things you’re really going to like” he whispered before licking my ear causing a shiver to go down my spine.
“Idiot” I said pushing him away and all he did was laugh as he mumbled ‘your idiot.’

“I also have a surprise for you” he said as he walked to the back of the car.
“What could that be?” I asked with a serious face trying to hide how my heart fluttered at the mention of a gift. 
“Some people give roses, toys or a romantic date but I know you’re not into that stuff so I got you this” Angel said as he opened the car boot shocking me.
“You go me a body?” I asked.
“Not just anybody Harley” Dexter said in shock, “That’s Kim Farrell”
I took a better look and it really was the man I had been trying to get my hands on for the past week.

“Do you like it?” he asked with a smirk knowing my answer. I pulled him by his neck and we shared a hungry kiss.
“I love it” I said as I pulled out my gun and met the eyes of a very scared Kim Farrell. I had been itching to kill him since he betrayed me but was shocked when Angel stood in my way.
“Slow down baby. I know you want to enjoy your gift but I also have some information you would really like to know. You could kill him now or…use him to get revenge on Duke” Angel said catching my interest.

“How?” I asked.
“Apparently Duke has a weakness and it’s this man right here” he explained and I couldn’t help the smirk that pasted on my face.
After all these years he finally slipped and now I had his lover in my hands.
“This is going to be fun” I said before turning back to our prisoner.

“Rocco take our guest in. Make sure his…comfortable” I said before turning back to Angel.
“Be careful I may or may not have broken both his legs…and arm…and ribs” Angel said with an innocent smile.
“Did he struggle that much?” Rocco asked a bit shocked.
“Not really. I just felt like it” Angel said and Rocco and the other men looked shocked.
I wasn’t shocked. Angel was crazy and I loved it.
