"The fact that you were not there meant that one person escaped. What's worse is that you were found sleeping in a cafe. You have some nerve slacking off on your job." Trembling, I look up into his eyes. All I can see is hate and disappointment. Even though they're the same ebony as Gin, his eyes hold nothing for me.
His eyes narrow at me as he says, "you are fired from your position."
My eyes widen. I'm so stunned all I can say is,"what..." It's the one word I never wanted to hear.
It means I will never be able to care for Akutagawa senpai again or to even see him again. It will also mean that I will be executed having failed as a subordinate.
To die by senpai's hands though..... I can't bear it.
His hand comes again and I close my eyes, waiting for the last touch I will ever have with senpai.
