If it wasn't for Mr Feeny, I wouldn't be here. Technically, I was best friends with two idiot boys since elementary school, but Mr Feeny's 6th grade class brought us even closer. We were now in high school, 7th grade to be exact. It's weird how this school is, but we're fine with it.

"Hey, losers!" I greeted as I sat down behind some girl. Mr Turner had yet to arrive, so I continued to talk to my best friends since elementary school. "Hey, Angel." Cory and Shawn greet. "So! We baking tonight at my place?" I asked.

Ever since we became best friends in elementary school, the boys asked for my mom to bake them some cookies but ever since she got sick I took over for her. "Cookies?" Cory asks. "Sure, if you want." I reply before seeing Mr Turner in the corner of my eye. Swiveling in my chair, I turned to the front of the class.

"Sir? If I may, with all due respect, we can do better than this." Cory reveals his feelings about the book to our teacher. Oh lord, Cory can not do better with a project about Love and Sex. "You can?" Mr Turner holds back a laugh, ultimately making me laugh. "Cory, you freak out every time your parents kiss." Shawn laughs, me agreeing.

"Alright then. The school has equipment for this, so. As your project for this book, I'd like you to make a short documentary about what you think about Love and Sex. Interview your family members, your friends, each other." Mr Turner begins to stroll the class. When he doesn't hear a response from Cory, he begins talking again.

"Please pair up in partners, my mature students." Mr Turner smiles at the two of us teasing our best friend. I turned to Topanga at the same time she turned to me. "Boy-girl pairs, please." Mr Turner corrects himself, noticing we were pairing up by genders. Cory immediately turned to Topanga. "Angel? You down?" Shawn says as I turned to him. "Yeah, for sure." I nod, holding my fist out for our handshake. He happily smiles before doing our special handshake with me. "The project is due Friday. Please do not forget about it." I hear Mr Turner announce to the class.

As I went to speak up, the bell rings and everyone springs up. "Shawn! Wait up!" I exclaimed, gathering my books. Shawn was waiting by the door as I walked out of the classroom. "Wanna meet up after our last class and walk to my place together?" I asked him as he lead us over to my locker.

"Yeah, that works for me. I can't believe Mr Turner is letting us do this project. Oh, I'll pick up the camera after my next class." Shawn nods, holding my books for me as I began to open my locker. For some reason, he's always done that ever since we got lockers.

"Please do not forget the camera. I'm not going to fail because of you." I laughed, taking my English book and trading it with my Science textbook. "Relax, Angel. I won't let you fail because of me. If you were Cory, then maybe I would." Shawn laughs. "Alright, loser. Give me my books so I can get to class." I laughed, closing my locker and grabbing my books back from him.

"Where are we meeting up?" Shawn asks, beginning to walk me to my class. Cory and him sometimes walked me to class even though I told them I didn't need it. Cory must be with Topanga or Harley.

"How about to just head over to your place? It's Friday so why don't I just spend the night?" Shawn suggests. "I'll have to ask my mom at lunch. I'm sure she'll be fine with it. But, I meant on where were meeting up after school." I chuckled as we approached my class. "I'll meet you at your locker." Shawn politely smiles down at me.

"Well. This is your stop on the Shawn train." Shawn jokes as we stood to the side of the doorway. "Shut up, you wish." I laughed.

"Whatever, loser. I'll see you later." Shawn side hugs me before leaving me for his class. Sighing, I entered my class.

My mom agreed to let Shawn spend the night, so we were good to go. I was currently sitting in my last class of the day, and I couldn't wait to see my best friend. Cory was probably going to ask him to come over, but Shawn would decline like he always does.

The bell rings, ending the class. Collecting my school books, I rushed out of the classroom and towards my locker.

Turning the corner, I saw Shawn talking to a girl from one of my classes. Glancing down at the ground, I made my way to my locker before opening it and stuffing my binders inside. Hell, why did my heart sink when I saw Shawn and that girl?

No. I cannot be falling for one of my best friends. Angel, get your mind out of there. Abort mission, abort mission-.

"Angel! I got the camera!" Shawn's voice rings through my ears, jolting me out of my dream state. "Jesus, I didn't mean to scare you. You alright?" He laughs beside me, placing his hand on my shoulder. Shrugging it off, I closed my locker. "Yeah, just thinking about my mom." I reassured him. "You sure?" He asks, leaning against the other lockers as our classmates began to clear out. "Yep. You ready to go?" I asked, gently closing my locker and looking up at him. Shawn nods in agreement as we began to walk out of the school.
