a warm evening in the park was accompanied by the splashing sounds of the fountain and the chatter of people.
hendery was with his group of friends at the time. walking back through the park from a relaxing time out. his friends really knew how to take the stress off of his shoulders.
"not gonna lie but today has been ace." one of the boys said. as soon as he said 'ace' everyone else started cringing at the boys word choice.
"you could have used a better word than ace, makes you sound like a fourty year old man." hendery said back to his friend. everyone else chuckles at his remark.
"yeah yeah."
