Lami just got into an isolation since she travelled from Singapore and returned to Korea during a pandemic.

Jisung also just got into an isolation why? he is an exchange student from Japan and is needed to return home immediately but has to go into an isolation first.

"Where should I stay again?" Lami asked the nurse as she pointed at the pink opened door. Lami nodded and bowed before going in.

She walked in and saw a bed, table and shelfs full of books, there's also a window to see the person next door.

She saw a guy at her age, he looked at her and she waved her hands. He ignored her and continued reading his Encyclopedia.

"Tsk nerds" she hissed and took off her shoes to lay on the bed and scroll on her phone.

She is currently wearing a hospital PJs like what the isolated ppl wore.

And after an hour of scrolling in her phone, she got bored.

She took a notebook and a pentelpen and wrote 'hi isolated human'

She grinned and knocked on the other guy's window. He heard it and looked up to see her facing a notebook on the window.

His brows knitted and looked at her before getting his notebook and pentelpen.

He showed her what is written after it.

"Hi to you too" she said the words out loud.

She busted a smile as he responded but when she looked up, he is now continuing to read his book.

She pouted and knocked the window again, she wrote "talk to me im bored" and shoved it on the window.

He looked up again, lowkey annoyed.

He read the words and wrote again in his notebook.

"Then read books" it said.

Lami pouted and stomped her way towards the shelves full of books. She took one and laid on the bed, reading it.

The guy looked at stared at her while she read the book. Its entitled 'love again'.

He continued to stare at her and completely ignored his Encyclopedia.

The book suddenly fell on her face making him laugh, Lami looked at the window to see him laugh.

She got wide eyed and covered her face with the book, too embarrassed to show her face after the scene.

"Idiot Lami-yah you're such an idiot" she whispered and bit her lips.

She looked up and saw a paper plastered on the window, "Park Jisung" it said.

She smiled and wrote her name before taping it on her glass window.

"Kim Lami"

She smiled widely before returning to her bed and slept peacefully.

They spent their times isolating for about 5 days. Both were now close through writing notes in their notebooks and sometimes goof arounf infront of the glass window.

The nurse arrived in Jisung's room first and applied tons and tons of alcohols on him and sprayed alot of medical thingys.

He smiled widely as soon as he got out. He waited infront of Lami's room and brushed his hair to look presentable as possible.

After a few minutes of cleaning, Lami walked out and almost bumped into Jisung as she didn't know he was waiting there for her.

She looked up to be greeted by the tall tree Jisung.

"Hi!!" Jisung said with his deep voice, well she didn't expect that.

She blinked a few times and smiled, "hello!!" She replied.

"I didn't expect you to have a low voice to be honest, but its good to see you without the windows" Lami said and smiled widely, showing her dimples.

"I also didn't expect you to be a bit tall, its unnoticeable" he spoke.

The two walked out of the hospital with their bags and returned to their own homes, exchanging numbers.

As soon as they were now far away from each other, grins and prouds smiles plastered on their faces.

They never knew their isolation would also recieve a friendship. Neither of them didn't liked it but instead they loved it, having a new friend felt pleasing but can they level it up?
