This is a spirit animal Au, where the Hamilsquad live in a universe where you can transform into your spirit animal. Your spirit animal grows with you, for example: a toddler can transform into a bear, but only a bear cub due to their age. Make sense? Good let's go.

Alex made his way to the front desk of the collage. Today was the day, the day he'd make new friends and meet his roommate. He sucked in a breath and gave his card to the girl at the front desk.

The girl, in fact, was not a human girl, but rather a black panther, and changed into human form when she saw him.

"Hey! Alexander Hamilton, pleased to meet you." Alex smiled, holding out his hand. The girl looked him up and down, and reluctantly, shook his hand.

"Welcome to King's Collage, home of Spirit Animals and more." She said emotionlessly, taking his card. Scanning it, Alex got to take a look at her.

The girl's skin was a dark shade of brown, and her hair was a shade of dark chocolate. She had applied blush to her cheeks, and an eyeliner so sharp it could stab him. She wore a red crop top, with the words "I am fat, the L is just silent" ironed onto it. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, being held up by a red scrunchie.

"Enjoy your days at Spirit School, dork. Room 1776. Someone's coming to meet you here, so freshen up." She murmured, handing him his dorm card. She also provided him with a map as well, with was colored and huge, compared to the high school map he had.

He gave a thanks, and sat into a chair checking his phone, opening his Music app, and quietly played some Rock Music.

He stayed like this for about a minute, because someone decided to scare him so much he transformed into his spirit animal: a lion.

He snarled and realized it was just the tour guide, and he quickly changed back into a human, embarrassed.

The tour guide he had was a cheetah, and was extremely energetic, as she was smiling and bouncing up and down.

"Sorry! Didn't mean to scare ya. I'm Peggy, and I'll show ya around! Also, you might want to change into a lion for this school. You get a reputation based on your animal." The girl said, smiling.

Alex nodded, and shook her hand, giving an energetic smile. "Alexander Hamilton. You can call me Alex." He said, shuffling a bit.

"Sweet! You seem pretty cool, Al. Well, let's go look around!"

Alex smiled, and returned to his lion form, giving a roar, before following the cheetah.

"And that's the campus! Now, I should get back to my friends, we're playing T or D, so it should be exciting."

Alex nodded, and yawned, walking down the hallway. He looked at all the dorms, and came across one that matched his card: 1776. He stopped, causing Peggy to stop with him.

"Oh! You're with The Crew! Oh thank God for that. John was really worried he'd get someone else, like Jeffershit or someone like that. He'd be so happy." She smiled, and transferred into her human form.

Alex did the same, and knocked on the door. Hauling his luggage was not something he enjoyed, so he planned on getting in there ASAP.

The door was opened by a giant bear, and Peggy, instead of being terrified, like Alex, she grabbed his stuff and moved past the bear, rolling her eyes.

"Honestly, Herc. There's a new guy at the door." She chuckled, elbowing the bear's belly.

The bear gave a rumble of laughter, and in a moment, the giant bear shortened in length, until a tall boy took it's place. The boy gave a hearty laugh, and held out his hand, smiling.

"Hercules Mulligan, welcome to our dorm." The tall man exclaimed, grabbing the remaining bags Alex was holding, and opened the door, letting him step inside.

"Well, I see that Herc and the others will help you settle in. Now, if you excuse me, I've got to play T or D with my sisters." Peggy smirked, racing out the door.

Alex chuckled, and headed inside, his eyes widening at the view.

The dorm was huge. It had a big living room with a flatscreen T.V., and a huge couch to sit on. The living room was jointed with the kitchen, and a small, round, wooden table was sat in the middle of four chairs. The actual kitchen was a different room, and had a bar overlooking it from the living room. The dorm was obviously one of the better dorms in the collage.

As for the bedrooms, they were in a side room, where two on each side rested. Alex looked inside each room, and claimed the first empty bed he saw, which was a cave set off into the corner. Inside the small cave was a bed made of moss and leaves. He smiled, and set up his laptop and charging station. He yawned and got out of the cave, heading out to meet the rest of his roommates.

He looked out and saw an hawk and a wolf, sitting on the floor of the living room, finishing up a game of War. The hawk was flipping through the cards with his talons, as if they were fingers. The wolf had the cards laid on the floor, panting over them. The game soon ended with the hawk winning, however the wolf begging for a rematch.

"Come on, Mon Ami! It'll be quick!" The wolf begged, clawing at the air, where the hawk was hovering.

"Nope. I'm done. You can't beat the champion of war, Laf." The hawk chuckled, landing onto a perch near the couch.

Alex stepped out, and grabbed their attention, giving a wave.

The wolf smiled, and transformed into a very French-y boy, wearing a white shirt with the words "America is my new best friend" printed on it. He wore blue jeans, and white sneakers. His skin tone was a light chocolate color, and his puffy black hair was pulled into a messy bun. Overall, the man was very attractive.

The hawk jumped from the perch, and transformed into a tall, freckled boy. His skin tone was a tiny shade of brown, and his hair was coconut brown, pulled into a nice, clean ponytail. He wore a green tank top, with a turtle ironed onto it. He wore regular black gym shorts, and tan sandals.

"Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de Lafayette. Otherwise known as Lafayette." The tall French man smiled, holding out his hand. Alex took it and shook it, before turning to the freckled man.

"John Laurens, call me John." The boy have a grin, shaking Alex's hand, before turning to the floor of the dorm to clean the cards up.

Alex smiled, and sat down to help him.

Something told him that this collage year will be interesting.
