Secrets and surprises

I woke up to the blazing sun shining through the open curtains. 

As promised, xavier slept in the guest room; I felt a little bad making him abandon his own room but hey I didn't force him. I knew sooner or later that was a barrier we'd have to over come but I didn't mind milking the whole shy phase.

Stretching, I walked to the cupboard to gets some clothes to shower. I was so tired, I didn't bother showering last night.

I could hear the shower running meaning that Xavier was showering. I made the bed and opened the window breathing in the fresh air. It was so peaceful, so comforting.

" good morning" I called to Xavier as he walked out with his hair dripping.

"Morning" he grumbled. He looked nervous,  definitely not a morning person then." did you sleep well?"

"Yeah. That was the best sleep I've had in a long time." I sighed wanting just to fall in to a deep sleep again. No worries, no stress, no nightmares.

I headed to the bathroom to shower. I looked in the mirror at my reflection. My skin looked brighter. It glowed under the beams of sunlight.

I slowly undressed looking at my scars wondering how much longer it would take for them to fade. I rubbed my fingertips over an ache in my neck. I neared the mirror to get a better look.

Huh, what is that.

It looked like a bite. No wait, it looked like a hickey. Did he?

I felt lightheaded at the idea that he took advantage of me. It shouldn't be so hard to believe, I don't even know him.

I started panicking, what do I do?.

My vision became blurry and my breathing was erratic. I started taking deep breaths.
I leaned on the bathroom counter and splashed water onto my face.

100...99...98...97...96...95...94...93...92.

I counted backwards  mentally, it was something that helped me calm down.

After calming myself down, I showered. The bathroom cupbards were filled with toiletries; how considerate of the bastard.

"We need to talk" Xavier said as he walked through the front door.

"Yes we do. What is that on my neck. How dare you."  Just thinking of him taking advantage of me made my blood boil. Without thinking I smacked him across the face. Hard. " I want to go home." I tried to hit him again but he grabbed my hand stopping me.

" stop. I don't know why I am going to explain myself, I can't do what I like, you're my property remember." He mumbled more to himself than me.

" property my ass, get your filthy hand off of my" I tried tugging my hand away from him whilst I hit him with my free hand.

He grabbed my other hand before growling " stop hitting me. I said I'll explain"

" how can you explain" I shouted back. " you took advantage of me you pig-"

He clasped a hand over my mouth with a laid back expression. " get over it. Do you want to know or should I just lock you in here."

I wasn't sure whether he actually would but I hit him one last time before sitting on the bed. " explain."

What could he possibly say.

" I have a confession, I am supernatural creature" he said in the most casual voice possible.

I laughed in his face before getting up and walking towards the door. " unbelieveable."

" I knew you'd never understand" he muttered.

I turned around and screamed at the top of my lungs. Xavier's eye colour transformed from an icy blue to Violet. He bared his canines at me. I screamed so loud, my face went red. He rushed to me, but before I knew it I passed out.

Hiii! A short chapter, I'm sorry. I tried to just get something out there but hopefully I'll get better ideas and longer content out within a few days.
