Oikawa's POV

I rode my bike to Maki's house. We were going to the lake! Maki's mom agreed to drive us. It's about an hour drive, so that kind of stinks... but Iwa-chan's going to be there! And Matsun, too.

I was the last one to arrive. Everyone was waiting outside for me. Iwa-chan had frosting on his lips, and there was an empty tray in Maki's hands.

"Maki! Iwa-chan! Did you have cupcakes without me?!"

"I had some, too," Matsun says, smirking at me.

"Ugh! So rude, you guys! Iwa-chan, I'm so offended you didn't save one for me!"

"Yeah yeah, quit your whining, Stupidkawa! Now come on, we don't have all day!"

We got in the car.

"Alright! Are you kids all buckled up?"

"Moooom, we're not kids," Maki protested. He and Matsun are sitting in the way back, while me and Iwa-chan are sitting in the normal backseat.

"Aww, Takahiro, you'll always be my little baby!"

Matsun smirked at him. Me and Iwa-chan silently laughed.

We mostly talked in the car. I convinced Iwa-chan to play rock-paper-scissors with me, but after the forty-sixth round he quit.

"Oh, come on Iwa-chan, just one more game?"

"No! You cheat!"

"I do not! Stop accusing me, Iwa-chan!"

"So," Maki's mom cuts in. "You and Iwaizumi seem close."

"Yep! He's gonna be my bride someday!" I answer.

Iwa-chan punches me. "No I'm not! Don't say stupid things like that, Stupidkawa!"

I smirk. "Iwa-chan, you need to work on your nicknames! You've called me 'Stupidkawa' twice in a row now!"

He karate chops me. I double over in pain.

"Owww... Iwa-chan, that hurt..."

"Now now, boys, be nice." Maki's mom says from the front seat.

"Sorry Mrs. Hanamaki." Iwa-chan says.

"Hey! Iwa-chan! You should be apologizing to me!"

He glares at me. Did it get colder in here all of a sudden?

"Sorry your such a baby, Babykawa."

And that was his fatal flaw.

"Iwa-chan! Did you just call me 'baby'? What are you, my boyfriend?"

I make sure to duck when he tries to slap me.

Hanamaki's POV

Me and Matsun try our best to ignore them. I can sense him looking at me, so I glance at him. He starts doing hand signals.

At the beginning of high school, when we became friends, we created our own sign language. It comes in handy at times like these, when the other two are being obnoxiously loud.

I watch as his hands begin to form words.

They are so ridiculous am I right

I sign back to him.

Yeah, no kidding. I can't wait to get out of here

We sign back and forth for a little while. Soon, we arrive at the lake. Mom parks by the entrance.

Oikawa and Iwaizumi are arguing, so we have to wait until they've resolved their argument (otherwise known as Iwaizumi had enough and punched Oikawa to get him to stop talking) to get out of the car. After they get out, me and Matsun climb over the seat and walk with Mom, Oikawa, and Iwaizumi to the small beach. There's only one other family there, which is good.
