Days rolled into weeks and weeks into months and it dragged by slowly like a dark cloud over my head. A thunder storm that didn't seem like it was going to let up any time soon

Its been a little over a month now and the last two weeks have been stressful. The park had always come first to me but now my priority list had changed and the joy i had found in immersing myself in long hours of work seemed yo have disappeared and i dreaded reading through another piece of paper .

Maybe i should get myself a PA and a secretary like Jayson that lazy bastard. But then there was the company and it was getting to the time of the year where demands raised to the peak and i needed to be at the top of my game, maybe i could get another manager and that would leave me with a lot of free time to spend with my mate sounds good to me i grinned

Amica... well has been stagnant since the beginning of this week and its Thursday, I'm scared that something has gone wrong in her brain since she hit her head pretty badly during her last episode

She'd been having constant episode for the last two week, the first where she nearly ripped the pipe from her throat again and the rest with her clawing at the bed since she was restrained and anything she comes in contact with, thrashing around and almost force shifting

And it killed me every time she had one. Even my presence didn't do much to calm her, I slept by her side every night but still she'd have yet another episode. I want nothing more than for her to wake up so she won't have to go through this anymore.

"Alpha Damian what are your thoughts?"

Shit I totally forgot about the meeting at hand. I glance over to Ivan to find him nodding so I nod along with him while trying  to find something to say that won't look stupid and won't be totally off the point

"I think its best to double our border security and double the trainings so if the war comes we're not lacking in strength, plus we need to guard our females mostly the mated ones and pups, everyone knows a males greatest fear and weakness is losing his mate and kids. I feel it can be used as a weapon also against us"

There are nods of agreement from some people while some don't buy it, well not my problem its not my pack and its none of my sectors so that's their problem to deal with

"What if all of this is just fake and there really is not a 'dark lord' plus we don't even know if Sanchez is telling the truth and those whose weaknesses are their females are just plain weak they should step up their games no real man falls over his feet for some woman"

Beck I think is his name, the bastard has always had it for I and Ivan since highschool his sorry ass isn't as perfect as he wants it to be, he hasn't even found his mate yet and i feel sorry for the woman who had been paired with the misogynistic bastard who thought women were scum beneath his feet. But then that is how his father treated his mother so I don't blame him all that much.

"You know Beck it wouldn't hurt your pack to hit the gym and grow some muscles, as for if Ivan is lying that's for him to know, also loving ones mate and family isn't a sign of weakness its the greatest strength but you wouldn't know that would you?. Council man Kondrad you may proceed to the next matter at hand"

I had a smug look on my face as I stared him down causing him to sit back and I could hear a few snickers,didn't need to look to know who they're from. Jayson and Wilson, Ivan on the other hand had a smirk plastered to his face

So on and on the meeting went with different alphas laying out their problems, the council taking account and others giving suggestion to help until it came to an end all alphas stood up and shook hands saying their thanks and goodbyes.

One by one they left till it was the four of us and the council member, we had a ten minute break before we started our own phase of the meeting by first giving conclusion to finalize what alpha gets what and other things to put in place. Kinda like the commonwealth and we're the Queens board to help in decision making

Then we share ideas on improving our own packs and making our own request to the council. I decided to check on Amica i had let bianca take a day off school to help watch over her till I'm back, picking up my phone I call her but she's not picking up so i left a voice note clearly showing my anger at her for not being with her phone.

I tried mind linking her but I hit a dead end. she's so gonna be grounded how would she not pick her damn phone and still not open her mind link, what's the essence of the damned thing if she won't even use it?, Can't she be like human kids and take it everywhere with her?, she promised to never leave her phone or close her link in case I needed her.

I try calling again but straight to voicemail again! With a sigh I drop my phone on the table.......Ray immediately I send a quick message telling him to check on them both.

"Geez man you look like you're about to explode" none other than Ivan says sitting next to me

"Because I am, remember the situation with my mate? So I got Bianca to stay with her but now I can't get a hold of her,i- I'm just worried"

"Everything is going to be fine, your mate will probably still be asleep so its no biggie, put on your big boy pants the meetings about to start" I chuckle at that and released a breath to before following him back in.

Three hours and the conclusion for alpha's request are done leading us to our next topic, its about four-ish and i really want to get back to my mate, Leo also is not helping matters as he's on edge

I make my request of punishing Dale and anyone responsible for the nightmare my mate went through,then will and Jay made their request and soon the meeting ended.

I'm sure the speed at which Russell is driving now is illegal but I want to get home, its almost six now so by Eight we should be there. Then my phone rings bianca

"What part of keep your phone with you and your link open don't you understand! ? I called you hours ago but you see it fit to reply only now!!?"

"P-lease tell me you're on your way home?" her voice came as panicked and I'm immediately alert

"What's wrong ? Is amica okay?"

"S-she woke up and she's attacking anyone who takes a step to her and she looks different" she whispered with a tremble to her voice

"Calm down bianca tell me what happened"

"I-i....she stirred and started to groan so i went and called doctor wendy and a few nurses to check if she was okay and she was, only that she was starting to wake and then she just jumped and attacked us....I think she's going to half shift...."

"Okay im coming nobody goes close to her okay, keep your distance". i didn't need to tell him Russell had already stopped the car

I remove my suit and pants quickly shifting then picking the pants in my mouth I give leo control to take us home to our mate.
