The sea world and the human world were never meant to collide...
The two completely different worlds were supposed to continue to be separated.

In ancient times the worlds were at war with one another creating mayhem for both worlds.
siren communities fell into a state of despair and starvation within the sea.

humans took advantage of such weakness and began on a journey to the forbidden territory to murder all sirens
unknowing of any power they could hold

You see sirens sing a song, a song with such beauty that it is almost completely irresistible by the human ears.
A song so enchanting that you can help but fall in love with the sound.
Although when you least expect it when your so deeply enthralled by the song, they strike.
They took the humans captive to feast for the survival they needed to build back their broken down weakened community.

After they restore the strength they needed they continued to be feared by many as
"wicked creatures"
No human went into their territory anymore
Because of this occurrence sirens needed humans no longer, and the worlds drifted back to the way they were.
The war ended.

Since then every siren followed the one simple rule of the sea; never use magic with or against the human world, or this may end in complete chaos.
