The
gang and I walked over to the hotel. Piano music was being played. Fred and I walked towards the reception and I rung the bell. "We ain't got no rooms." A female voice said. We turned around to see a woman with orange curly hair in a pink dress. "But the sign says vacancy." I told her pointing to the painted sign. "Well that's sign's broken." The red-head said. "But's a painted sign." Velma argued to her. "Gunther we got guests!" She yelled. The man now Gunther that was playing the piano crept over to the woman. "Well hello." He greeted. "This is my son Gunther Gator, and I'm Greta Gator." Greta introduced.

"You're last names are Gator and lived in Gatorsburg?" Shaggy questioned. "What a coincidence." Scooby said "Yeah coincidence." Greta said her and his son chuckling. She then lead us upstairs "We don't get many guests here at The Drowsy Gator." She said. "Shocker," Velma sarcastically replied. As we were walked through one of the halls one of the pictures that was hanging from the wall has a huge tear in it. "Like are those claw marks?" Shaggy questioned Greta. Greta looked at the mark then saying "I don't see any marks." Then continued leading us to our rooms. I noticed something in the tear, it was a claw I picked it up showing it to Shaggy and Scooby making them gulp. Then I put the claw in my pocket for safe keeping.

Greta opened the door to one of the rooms. "I got a few hotel rules." She said "Rule number one boys and girls in separate rooms. No exceptions!" She yelled. "Guess I'll be staying with you Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby." I told them walking inside the room. "I said no exceptions!" She yelled. "I'm a boy." I replied "Oh right, Rule number two stay in your rooms no matter what you hear. That includes screams, moans, wails, pounding, clawing, scratching and anything that sounds a body being dragged across a hardwood floor." Greta continued. "Okay.... Well, Shag, Matt looks like you, me, and Scooby are in this room." Fred said. "Oh I almost forgot Rule number three no pets in the Hotel!" She shouted

"What?" Scooby said. "It's okay Scoob. You can sleep in the Mystery Machine." Fred offered to Scooby. "It's just one night Scooby-Doo. I'll see you in the morning buddy." Shaggy reassured Scooby trying to make him feel better. "I hope so." Scooby bitterly said. The two cried and hugged each other making me and Velma rolled our eyes.
