Chile was a lone donkey. He has been alone since a little foal, he has always wanted a family to call his own, and someone to play with, but after many meals alone, many cries at night for a friend, and many years of loneliness. He has grown okay with his way of life, and confortable with the idea of not having someone to protect or care for, but he can't help but feel a heavy pull on his heart when he see's a  rabbit and little animals playing around with each other, and the mothers's feeding their young.
Soon the donkey grew sad and held his head low instead of high, he'd sadly go out to get food and went back home to sleep alone. One day when chile woke up he had a good feeling about this day.  While out looking for food he pick some apples off a wild apple tree, and some carrots and grass, while going back to his home he came across a very skinny donkey, she had pretty tan hair and looked unwell. Chile dropped an apple at her feet and she gobbled it up quickly, he saw that she was hungry and gave her two more apples and some grass. It was getting late so he had to go back home. The next morning he rushed out the door to look for the donkey. He saw her near a steam drinking the water from it. When she was done chile walked up to her and laid some grass at her feet for her to eat. She ate more slowly this time, but chile went to get more. He spent all day with her, but soon he had to go back home, they didn't want to leave each other and became very sad, but he got and idea...why can't she stay with him. He asked her to come with her and she did. After that day they never left each other side, and shortly after he had a little baby to care for and a family of his own.
