Buffy's P.O.V.*

It's been two months since I started working for Marty. It's been pretty good, I've made a butt-ton more money than I used to so that's amazing and I've also begun hanging out with Marty a lot more and we've become really good friends. Today was a Saturday morning meaning that I had work.

I had already taken my shower, and I was now sitting at the kitchen table wearing the light purple dress that Marty had bought for me with a white jean jacket, and white Air force 1s, that I'd bought with my new salary! Awesome! Right!? Well, today was supposed to be a good day at work so I was just sipping on my tea casually.

I looked down at my phone, sighing as I realized that I need to go on my way. So I took the mug of tea, pouring the rest of the tea into a thermos, as I picked up my purple handbag, before stepping out of my apartment with my keys in hand. I turned around locking the door behind myself heading down the stairs as fast as I could.

I headed down the stairs until I found myself in the parking lot trying to remember where I parked my car. I know awesome right!? I have my own car! Life was finally looking up at this point.

Ah! There it was, I ran over to my small gray car. It was parked in the far back corner of the parking lot. So I quickly entered the car locking the door behind myself, as I threw, my purse on the passenger seat. I place my thermos carefully in the cupholder before turning to the steering wheel.

I quickly put my key into the ignition turning it to start the car which woke with a grumble. I slowly pulled out of my parking spot, looking cautiously into the rearview mirror, as I drove right out of the underground parking lot. Sighing contently as the rays of warm sun washed over me.

I carefully entered the slight traffic, on the road, as I turned on the radio. I nodded my head slightly as I listened to the music that played, loudly in my car.

I sang along to the music completely relaxed as I turned into the parking lot of the 'Gamer's Kingdom' office building. I looked around for an open spot spotting one, at the far end of the parking lot. I drove my car there, parking carefully driving into the spot. Once I parked correctly. I took my key out of the ignition. I sat there sipping my tea until I finished.

Once I finished I picked up my purse and my keys, stepping out of my cars with a satisfied smile on my face. I had a good feeling in my gut today. I felt like today was a good day. I felt like something was going to happen and something was going to change.

I locked the car door behind me as I walked over to the front door of the tall office building. I stepped through the spinning door smiling as the cold air-conditioned air hit me. I walked over to the entry desk smiling at Pamela, the morning receptionist.

"Hey, Pam," I said with a grin as I pulled out my id.

"Hey!" She said looking up at me as she took my id scanning it.

"Can you check through my schedule?" I asked looking down at my watch.

"Of course." She said with a smile, as she looked at her laptop screen. "Okay, so you have a meeting at 10:30 which is in 20 minutes so for now you've got nothing. But that meeting wi-"

"Buffy!" Marty called out running toward some with a grin on his face.

"Hey, Marty!" I said turning towards him with a smile.

Marty didn't say anything as he put a hand on my waist pulling me closer as he placed a kiss on my lips. I felt my heart flutter out of my chest as I smiled my eyes fluttered shut and I kissed him back. I felt an electrical spark run through my body. Making my face heat up.

And at that moment I knew that we had rekindled our romance.
