Marinette rolled her eyes for the fiftieth time that week. Lila was going about her usual nonsense. She had been loudly spouting off how she was dating Damian Wayne, that she knew Batman's identity and had been his sidekick before.
Marinette giggled at the scoff next to her. Damian Wayne had been with them the entire trip and Lila, was none the wiser. Damian planned on serving her with defamation papers as soon they were heading back to Paris. He hated the plan, but Marinette had insisted that her boyfriend remain quiet for the duration of the trip. The only silver lining he saw, was that he could pile more on lawsuits on her, the more she talked.
The class was already heading back to the hotel when Damian pulled Marinette off to the side.
"Damian?" she asked, "What's wrong?"
"Angel, my father wants to see you at dinner tonight." Damian admitted.
"What should I wear?" Marinette questioned.
"I'm sure anything you have will look lovely, Habibiti." he spoke, holding out his arm for her to take.
Marinette smiled as she took his arm and suddenly, everything went dark.
Marinette was brought to her senses with a cold splash of water, all over.
Disoriented, she moved her body. She quickly realized, she couldn't move. She was bound to a chair.
Marinette looked around and found Two-Face staring back at her.
'Just great.'
"Good. You're awake." he spoke, "Welcome to your trial, my dear."
"Trial? For what?" she asked, "Where's Damian?"
"To see if what you say is the truth or a lie and don't worry, your boyfriend is fine. A little roughed up, but fine. He's right where we found you." Two-Faced began, "So, tell me about Batman."
"What about him? You live in Gotham. Shouldn't you know more about him then me?" Mari questioned.
"Ah, that is what we are finding out now." he smirked and nodded.
Marinette's face stung as she was suddenly slapped.
'What?'
"Let's keep going." Two-Face spoke.
After what felt like hours, Marinette finally shouted, "Enough!" making him laugh.
"Tell me about The Bat!" Two-Faced yelled at her.
"I don't know anything!" Marinette screamed.
"As if I'd believe you." he laughs, "You've been going around practically telling everyone-"
"That wasn't me!" she pleaded.
"Oh, please." he goaded, rolling his eyes.
And then it finally happened.
Marinette snapped.
"It was that two-faced bitch, Lila Rossi!" she screamed.
"Oh?" questioned Harvey, intrigued.
"I fucking hate her!" Marinette shouted, as he took a seat and motioned for her to continue.
"Oh! I'm dating Damian Wayne." Marinette said in a high pitch voice before stating in her normal voice, "Seriously? She couldn't even tell that he joined the group! She's been calling him a 'tag-along' the whole time. If she had ever dated him, you think she would have said something, but no. "
