Chapter 29

*Author's P.O.V*

Zayn, Harry, and Liam all sit on the low cut grass in the huge field. Liam wasn't a strong believer in the alien ordeal but he came for support. The sun had gone down and the street lights nearby came on. They were watching the sky in hopes of catching something to satisfy their mind but they didn't. They also talked to Zayn's viewers about what they know so far and their theories. Surprisingly enough, the viewers didn't give them shit for not showing them anything. Most of them were just happy that Zayn acknowledge them so much since most of his attention was on Harry when he wasn't talking about the aliens. The couple tried their best not to make Liam feel like the third wheel when they were affectionate to each other.

The boys get up when Niall's car beeps at them they. They make their way over, Zayn and Harry holding hands, with smiles on their faces since he seems to be doing alright. Liam suddenly stops, which gets the other two to stop. They are about to question his action but he just points to the car. There in the backseat of the car they can see what resembles a starfish but with the flimsy body of an octopus. The creature's black body crawls up the window before attaching itself to the back of Niall's seat. There's simply no way that this organism is from earth. Zayn just knows that this has to be the aliens doing. He really wanted to know if that thing is harmless or extremely dangerous. He can only imagine what other ungodly things they could send down here.

"Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing?" Liam questions, causing Zayn to pocket his phone and immediately run to his innocent friend.

"Niall get out the car now!" Zayn screams just as it attaches itself to his friend's hand.

"We're too late." Harry says when Niall screams and start to jerk his hand around in hopes of getting it off.

"What the fuck is this thing!" Niall shouts as the unknown creature attaches itself to his arms and legs now.

He tries to figure out how in the world did it get inside of his car. He's sure he would have heard it or seen it after he got in. He can't move as much as he watches the guys try and find something to break the window with. A scream leaving his mouth as pain spreads up and down his arms and legs. He can feel tears coming to his eyes, making everything around him blurry. He can hear Harry and Liam yelling at him to hang on while Zayn comes back to the car with a thick tree branch. The branch comes down hard on the window but it only causes it to rattle just the slightest. There is a second attempt but the branch breaks instead. That doesn't waiver their hope.

Niall's chest heaves up and down quickly as he stretches his neck as far away from the creature. The movement results in the creature to pry his mouth open and try to crawl its way inside. The strength of this small thing is astounding. Harry and Liam are now beating on the window, trying to get the creature to leave their friend alone. That doesn't do anything though. They watch in horror as the creature wiggles its way in Niall's mouth and start to work its way down his throat. Its tail is still swinging outside of his mouth as his face turns red from the forced entry. No matter how hard he tugs on the creature's tail it doesn't come out in the slightest. All he can think is that this is his death.

"I can't believe that this is actually happening." Harry whispers to himself, starting to pray that this is just some stupid joke.

"Get back!" Liam yells, running up to the car with a big rock in his hand making everyone duck.

"What the fuck is that thing?" Zayn questions just as the creature disappeared inside of Niall, who is now passed out while the window broke.

"I don't know but we have to get it out of Niall right now because it could be eating him from the inside out." Harry responds with a shake of his head opening the car door and pulling the blue eye male out.

"How are we suppose to do that?" Zayn asks as they stare down at their friend's still body.

"We either make him vomit or cut it out of him and I know none of us know how to cut open someone without killing them." Liam answers, getting down on his knees.

He put his ear against Niall's chest and sighs in relief when he hear his steady heartbeat. He then proceeds to tug off his shirt in hopes of spotting the creature moving around. While that happens, Harry searches their cars in hopes of finding something useful. Zayn has his fingers in his hair while trying to gather his thoughts. The main thing that keeps picking at his brain is that they can't take their friend to the hospital. The reason being is that they wouldn't be able to explain that thing which will make the hospital get the government involved. With the government involved, they most definitely will not see Niall again and who knows the type of experiments they would put him through.

"We have to get him back to my place now." Zayn states with his boyfriend coming over to grab his hand.

"Stop your live." Harry reminds him, which he quickly does as Liam puts Niall back in his car then getting in the driver seat.

"Be careful on the way there Liam. Who knows what could happen next." Zayn says then getting in his car and they make their way to his home.
