Chapter 11

Start of season 2 and the Sports Festival arc.

"You know Ojisan," Sora said as he walked besides Aizawa tiredly, "My classmates are questioning our relationship. It's okay to tell them, right?"

"...it doesn't matter."

"...okay," Sora yawned, "If they ask, I'll just tell them."

"Attention, homeroom class is about to begin," Sora heard Iida from the hallway, "Everyone stop talking and take your seats."

"uh, we're all sitting," Kirishima said.

"Yea, you're the only one standing," Sero said.

"Dang it!"

"Don't sweat it," Ochaco told Iida

"Hey Tsu," Mina said, "Where do you think is Sora? And who do ya think is gonna teach class today?"

"I'm sure Sora will come," Tsu said, "and no idea. Aizawa-sensei's still in the hospital recovering from his injuries."

Then the class door opens and two figures come in.

"Morning, class."

"Aizawa-sensei, what are you doing here?

"...he's here to teach his class," Sora entered the class tiredly.

"SORA! YOU'RE ALRIGHT!" 

"I'm glad both of you are okay," Iida said.

"You call that okay," Uraraka said

"Sora, take a seat," Aizawa said.

"....alright," Sora went sit down (remember he is to the left of Todoroki, where Momo used to sit, and Momo is behind Uraraka) and lay his head on the desk.

"My well being is irrelevant," Aizawa said, "What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet."

'Ojisan,' Sora though, 'you are scaring them.'

"Our fight?"

"Don't tell me."

"Not more bad guys!"

"The UA sports festival is about to start."

"Huh?!? DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT!"

"Is it really such a good idea to hold the sports so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jirou asked and Sora raised his head from his desk and opened his mouth.

"This is a way of telling everyone that the threat is no longer here and that it has been taken care of. And I'm sure the school in maximizing security for safety insurance," Sora continued, "Besides, this event is a huge opportunity for us, students, at UA. It's not something that should be cancel because of a few villains." Everyone looked at Sora surprised.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"...He fell asleep," Todoroki said.

'Again,' the class sweatdropped.

"Sora is correct," Aizawa said not faced by Sora falling asleep.

"But, why not? It's just a sports festival," Mineta said.

"Huh? Mineta, don't you know how important this competition is?" Deku asked.

"Of course I do."

"Our sports festival is one of the most-watched events in the entire world," Aizawa said, "In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic games. But then Quirks started appearing. Now the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters. The UA Sports Festival." 

"That's right," Sora said waking up once again, "And top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is a chance where you could get scouted."

"Unless you're dead," Mineta said

"Sora's right," Denki said, "After graduating, a lot of people join pro agencies as a sidekick." 

"Yeah," Jirou said, "But that's as far as some people go. They miss their chance to go indie and stay eternal sidekicks. Actually, that's probably where you're headed. You're kinda dumb."

"It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garner you greater experience and popularity," Aizawa said, "That's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open the path for you. One chance a year. Three chances in a lifetime. No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training."

Everyone looked at Sora.

"..."

"..."

'he's still asleep' the class thought. 

"Class is dismissed."

"Hey Sora," Mina said, "What is your relationship with Aizawa-sensei?"

"...he's my godfather."

"WHAT?!?" Mina yelled, "Why didn't you tell us?"

"You didn't ask until now," Sora blinked.

"...right." 'Tokoyami was right.'

"How are you feeling anyway?" Kirishima asked.

"I'm feeling fine," Sora said, "I just overused my quirk."

'liar,' Bakugou thought, 'you had enough energy to run 5 miles straight.'

"Are you guys excited for the festival?" Kirishima said.

"Totally," Sero said.

"tch, they are just stepping stones to my victory of becoming number one," Bakugou said

"That's not very manly to say."

"Bakugou," Sora said looking serious, "Let's do our best."

Bakugou smirked, "I look forward to beating your ass."

"EVERYONE," Ochaco shouted, "I'M GONNA DO MY BEST."

"Yeah!!!"

"I SAID, I'M GONNA DO MY BEST."

"got it..."

"You okay?"
