She awoke with sweat pooling on her forehead. Her mouth felt dry and her head was pounding. She looked around and panic overtook her as she realized that she was in strange environment. Her breathing picked up as her vision blurred. She tried to raise her body but felt a piercing pain run through her entire right arm. She winced in pain as she adjusted herself on the bed. She closed her eyes, did her breathing technique and opened her eyes and examined her surroundings. She found that the room looked to belong to an apartment building as the view from the window showed clear blue sky. The room also looked to belong to a male as there were jeans and undergarments made for men strewn lazily about. The apartment was relatively big, although anything seemed bigger than hers. The room was decorated with posters of various musicians and bands, some of which she knew, some of which she didn't. She edged herself out the bed and moved slowly to a door she hoped led to the bathroom. She opened the door and relief flooded her as she saw the toilet. She relieved her bladder and made her way to the bathroom cabinet. She looked in the mirror and saw that she had a cut above her eye that looked to have been stitched and treated. She ran her fingers along the steep cut and winced as she touched it. She opened the medicine cabinet but to her dismay there was nothing but toiletries. She looked around and determined that from the sole toothbrush and the one towel on the rack, there was only resident of the house.

She made her way back to the bedroom and her eyes fell on a nightstand. She opened the top draw to find it mostly empty except for a flashlight and some condoms. She scoffed and tried the bottom draw but to her disappointment, it was locked. "Looking for something?" she heard come from somewhere in the room. She gasped and jumped back in fright as she saw a curly haired boy walking toward her. A look of confusion crossed his face and his warm smile dissipated at he registered the look on his face. "Who are you?" she shouted. "You don't remember?". She looked at him and thought hard for a minute. She had no recollection of him but he felt familiar. She looked at him apprehensively and shook her head. "Fuck." he cursed.

"Wha- What happened?" she asked. He looked at her with a pained look and said "I don't know, I found you on the sidewalk last night. You were pretty banged up so I brought you inside and cleaned you up and let you sleep." She felt her heart drop and her legs go weak. What happened to her she asked herself. She sat at the edge of the bed as her breathing rate increased rapidly. The curly haired boy set the bag that she never noticed till now on the table and moved toward her. As a reflex, she moved away from him. She was getting a panic attack. She got them all the time and she didn't know why, they just happened. Her body started shaking and she started crying and she felt like she was falling off of cliff in slow motion. The boy ignored her rejection and grabbed her hand and told her to breathe, he even breathed along with her trying to calm her down. After what felt like a decade, she finally calmed down. She felt exhausted so she unconsciously laid her head on the boy's shoulder. "Can you at least tell me your name?" he asked. She looked up at him, she thought about her name but nothing came up. She started to search her mind but she couldn't come up with her name. She searched her mind for anything about herself but came up empty. "I don't know." she said with a frown. "Damn, you must have hit your head pretty hard." .She looked at him confused and moved her hand to the back of her head and or the first time she woke up, she felt the pain rush through her entire head. "Do you have any aspirin?" she choked out. "Hold on let me check". The boy got up and walked to the door she assumed he came from. She turned to look out the window as she whispered to herself "What the fuck happened to me?".
