10 Days (Seungjin)

Hyunjin's POV

I'm about to go for my second class, but suddenly I feel hungry, so I went to the cafe to grab something to eat. There, I saw some familiar face sitting alone at a table. When I look at that person closer, it was Seungmin. So I immediately went to him and patted his shoulder lightly. "Hey Seungmin." He was a bit startled and quickly turned around and facing me. "Owh hey Hyunjin," he said. His eyes were red as if he was after crying. I sat beside him. "Hey Seungmin, are you okay? Why your eyes so red?" I asked, feel worried about him. "It's nothing. I just have another bad day today. But really, it's nothing big", he told me. But I knew he hides something from me. Something terrible. If not, his eyes won't be this red right, as if he was crying very hard. "Hey, Minnie. If you have any problems, you have me to lean on okay. I will always stay by your side. My shoulder will always for you to lean on. My ears will always for you to hear your problems okay", I try to comfort him by the side, hugging him. Then he slowly put his head lightly on my shoulder. I noticed after that, and he feels calmer than before. He even stopped crying. After a few minutes of calming himself, he spoke. "Actually, i was enjoying my breakkie just now. Then, i heard someone saying bad things towards me". I asked, curiously, "what did they said about you?". "They said i was a boy who was just hunger for popularity and affection of everyone. They even said i sing just for showing off and not because of my talent. I knew it so well that i'm not a really talented person but i try. I try so hard to show every one about my talent, not for showing off or to get people's attention. I even have a singing performance in 3 days. After hearing this, i feel like losing my confidence in singing. I'm afraid if i keep continue this, more people will keep mocking me, show hatred to me. I can't stand that," he pleaded. I feel so angry and sad at the same time because how dare these people to do those bad things to him. He was so talented, but everyone can't notice that. He is the one who should get gratitude from everyone rather than hatred. "I'm sorry Minnie. I hope you can stay strong to go through this okay. People just don't realize how good you are. They said you are the one who seek for attention but it's actually them who need attention by doing bad things to you. Stay strong and don't give up okay. When you think that no one will love and appreciate you, think of me, because i love you and always appreciate whatever you had. I will always stay with you through your thick and thin. Whenever you feel lonely, please come to me okay. I promise i'll never leave you alone. I'll try my best to make you the happiest person in the world okay." I smiled at him while looking straight into his brown eyes. "Thank you so much Jinnie. I love you too, and I feel so grateful to meet you. You are here for me when i have no one. You are here to cheer up for me and make me stronger. Thank you so much, Jinnie", he said, smiling to me as well while looking straight into my eyes. "Now should we go to our class?" I asked him. "Yeah, let's." He grabbed my hand, intertwined it with his, and dragged me out of the cafe.
