Richie's POV:
~
We arrived at the theater ten minutes after the movie had started. I threw my bike to the ground outside the theater, praying it wouldn't be gone when I got back out. Ben rushed inside, we had been here many times, normally with Bev. He knew what to do to get in by now.
"Hey haystack! I'm headed to the bathroom, save a seat for me!" I called out, seeing him flip up his thumb and thrash open the thick doors to the theater.
I followed after him, being sure to see which number room he went into. After that, I walked to the bathroom.. my head hurting like hell. Alright Rich, anything could happen now. You've got him alone. But you can't do anything.. he'll tell the others.. he'll tell them all. They'll all know you're sick.. don't let them know Richie.. I placed my hands on the mirror, who was I kidding? Ben would never like me.. he's not sick like me. He's normal. I curled my hands into fists and hit the mirror. Why can't I be normal too? Why me? Why-- the bathroom door flung open, a bald man walked in. He can't read minds either Rich.. but he can see you staring into the mirror.. I dropped my hands to my sides and looked down to the water faucet. The knob was cold, it calmed me down a bit. I think I was finally ready to meet up with Ben.

Ben's POV
I got us good seats. Close to the middle of the theater. Richie said the middle of the theater was the best because you weren't so close to the screen that it was blinding and you weren't too far away where it was hard to see. He played a lot with eyesight I guess. He also knew the theater like the back of his hand, Richie was always bragging about how he knew ways to sneak into the movies and get free popcorn. In fact, here he came now, walking down the aisle, holding his glasses up with one hand, and gripping a bucket of popcorn in the other. I waved.
"Over here Rich!" I exclaimed, receiving many shushes from the people behind me.
"Heyyy you got the good seats!" He smirked, handing me the bucket of popcorn. He plopped down next to me, adjusting his glasses.

Richie's POV:
Ben was getting scared. I could tell by the horrified look on his face that he made every other minute. I didn't understand what was so scary.. but he was definitely shook up.
"It's okay man, it's just a movie." I tried reassuring him.
"Yeah.. yeah." he whispered, keeping his eyes on the screen despite the fact he was near shaking. Ben grabbed the arm of his seat and closed his eyes as a loud shriek emerged. I couldn't stop myself from looking over..
"Are you okay?" I asked. No response. His hand opened on the arm of the seat, trembling. My heart began racing as I slid my hand over his, interlocking our fingers. His hand was much thicker than mine, and frosted in sweat, but he quickly tightened his grip. My heart stopped, not knowing what to do. Ben's eyes were still drilled shut. I don't know if he even knew what he was doing. He still was scared, obviously.
"Hey.. Ben?" I shook his hand.. he didn't answer, just nodded slightly. I don't know what came over me but I just wanted to make him feel okay, he was so scared. He looked the same as he had looked the day we fought that clown. When he kissed Bev.. he kissed her and made her okay right? I looked at the trembling boy beside me. He was shaking hard now, blocking out the screams. I leaned a little closer, knowing he couldn't see me. I let out a shaky breath on his face to let him know I was there. He peeked open his eyes and then I pressed my face to his.
"Rich what a--" I kissed him. Hard. Letting my lips glide on his, and then pressing down. He squeezed my hand and shoved me off.. flashing open his eyes.
I locked eyes with him.. did I infect him? Did he not like it? He let my hand go, his mouth dropping open in shock.
"I.. I'm sorry! I h-have to check on my bike!" I stammered, jumping out of the seat and rushing away. What did I do...
"Wait! Richie!" Ben yelled, standing up. I fled, as fast as I could, almost tripping and falling into the movie theater door. I hauled myself into the door, shoving it open and letting light flood in on the theater, then I practically leaped out and sprinted for my bike. Relieved it was still outside the theater, I grabbed it, and rode away. Tears streaming down my face.
