*[a request, from giorni lunari herself]

"...Femboy Hooters'? Interesting." Lucifer purrs, hand resting on his cheek as he props his elbow up atop of the glass surface of the table. He was amused - watching his lover prattle on about her affairs in the human world. "And these... 'flamingos' that you had mentioned previously... Do they also inhabit this... 'femboy Hooters'?"

Y/N furrowed her brows. "Of course not? I..." Her lips purse into a pout. "I think flamingos live near the water? Like lakes and stuff. They're birds, Luci."

"And these 'femboys'... are they not birds?"

"No. Femboys are like - well, they're boys that, uh-" She let out a sudden yelp, startled by the sound of her D.D.D.'s ringer as it vibrated on the table.

The duo peered over at the phone to glance at the screen, curious to see who could be calling Y/N at such an hour. "Mammon?" Lucifer pursed his lips as he reached for the phone with his gloved hand. He tried to answer the call, however, he pressed the screen and the phone gave no response.

"Lucifer... your gloves." Y/N reminded gently.

"Ah." Lucifer gave a simple response, slipping his glove off in one fluid motion, therefore effectively answering the phone. "He-" He hadn't had time to offer a greeting before Mammon's voice blared obnoxiously through the phone's speaker.

"Y/N! You gotta help me, PLEASE! Can I get the Diff. Calc homework? It's due at midnight and I-"

"...Go away." Lucifer speaks icily into the phone, hanging up on Mammon before the Avatar of Greed could even dare to offer a response.

"Midnight? Oh..." Y/N glanced at her watch. "It's five minutes to. Shouldn't we start heading home now, Luci? It's rather late, and we do have school in the morning." Lucifer raised an eyebrow. "I, uh... I know you don't have to sleep as much, but as a human, I kinda-"

"Oh." Lucifer's voice was deep. "I apologize. I had nearly forgotten." He offers a charming smile, swiftly putting his gloves back on and gracefully getting up from his seat and offering a hand to the girl. "Forgive me?"

Y/N takes his hand and smiles, allowing him to assist her. As he hoists her up, she returns with an "of course".

As the two stood on the clean stone path of Main Street, Y/N offers, "If we walk fast enough, I'm sure we can get back to the House of Lamentation in about a half an hour or so. I hadn't realized that this restaurant was so far and..." She trailed off, looking up to her boyfriend, who seemed pensive - and unnaturally silent. "...Lucifer?"

Her only response was a deep hum. "This won't do..."

"What do you..." She trailed off once more, taken aback by Lucifer's sudden transformation - horns sprouted from his head as dark wings emerged from his back.

He smiles once more - confident and bewitching - holding out his hand go her once more as he offers: "Shall we fly, my dear?"

They had returned to the house within the time frame of 10 minutes - much quicker than Y/N had anticipated.

It was a thrilling experience, hair flying wildly in the chilled Devildom night sky, held securely within Lucifer's strong arms. She had always found certain heights to be unpleasant - not necessarily a fear, but she never had been a fan of high places. However, with Lucifer, it was different. At first, she was too flustered to care about the height, but she supposed that her subconscious mind knew that Lucifer would do anything to keep her from harm - and that included *not* dropping her as they flew above the city.

The view was astonishing. Y/N never knew that the geography of the Devildom was so... vast. Lucifer claimed to have taken the "scenic" route, and "scenic" it was. They flew over quiet villagers, tall mountains, parts of the city and a comfortable hill that looked upon a large lake. Y/N made a mental note to take Lucifer there on their next date.
