"She is a queen, her soul is royalty." - Adrian Michael

His face was hidden in the shadows, so all I could see was his lower half. He was wearing a long green cloak, boots and a belt made of fur. He stood up and I was surprised. He looked normal, well normal-er than the Okrutans.
He was a tall man, with a tanned face and tiny scars all over. A shock of black hair on his head that matched his eyes. He was intimidating and emitted power. Fenrick pushed my back, and I bowed. When I straightened up, he himself was bowing so low. I was worried his position would stay like that forever.
"Welcome, Gweneth, my future Queen." He boomed.
"Wait, did you just say 'Queen'? I do not want to marry you, thank you very much," I huffed.
He chuckled. "You don't have a choice, honey."
"Bleh, don't call me honey. I could be your daughter."
He snarled at me, "I am your sovereign, Alpha Arragorn. You will be respectful, or you shall face the consequences."
I laughed, having no idea where my new-found courage was coming from. "Yes, King Arragorn, " I mocked.
"Better. Come hither, m'lady."
"Who says 'hither' anymore? " I muttered, not moving from my place.
Fenrick, ever the gentleman, shoved me in front of the throne and made me kneel. Arragorn took my hand and kissed my knuckles, as I tried not to vomit. He stank, worse than the Okrutans. It was like they all wore the same perfume 'Garbage and Rot' by the famous 'Stink'.
"You will marry me after a test." He sat back on his throne.
"Good, then I'll be sure to fail it."
"It is not possible to fail, for if you do, you'll be kept prisoner."
"Perfect, then I won't have to marry you."
"I am marrying you, that is for sure." He licked his bottom lip.
"Marry my dead corpse then," I scoffed.
"I think not, how will you have my children then?"
"Disgusting, I'll never have your kids." I was sure my face was green by then.
"I'll have to force you then."
"You'll be dead before you try to touch me," I snarled, losing my patience.
Fenrick kicked me and I finally lost it. I turned around and attacked him. I slapped and scratched him, my fingernails getting caked with his blood. I bit his hand, and he screamed. Then I punched him hard in the stomach, my fists raining down on him. I pulled his hair, till he begged me to stop.
I hissed, "Now how does it feel to be the one receiving the beating?"
"Stop, I am sorry," he howled.
On the other side, Arragorn was laughing. I snatched the blade from Fenrick's belt and jumped onto the thrown with astonishing speed, holding the knife in front of the Alpha's throat. He still smiled at me. "A feisty quite quaint wench."
"Don't call me a bitch." I paused, looking at his astonished face. "Yes, I know what you said. But the words I am going to call you now are completely out of your dictionary." I pressed the knife harder, a line of blood pooling around his throat. Something flickered in his eyes—fear. My lips curled into a smile, and I moved back slowly, my hand still near his neck.
A group of soldiers surged towards me, raising their swords. I didn't falter. "Drop the blade, miss." One of the Okrutans approached me, slowly. I pressed the knife harder. He hurriedly stepped back.
"Fools, catch her."
They all surrounded me, and I knew I had lost. I didn't have it in me to kill someone from so close, only if I had a gun. I tucked the knife into my pocket, putting my hands in the air. Fenrick limped towards me and gave me a grin, and this time it was genuine. Shocked, I stared at his face, blinking several times. What happened next threw me into a whirlwind of questions.
He winked and took the knife from me, careful not to touch me. He bent and whispered, "You are brave."
Fenrick moved back. I surreptitiously gave him a small smile. They all made me walk to the edge of the room.
Arragorn got up and wiped the blood on his shirt, massaging his throat gently. "Now, for the ceremony that takes place every year. It will be conducted by the future Queen, Miss Gweneth Rose."
"And, what is it that I have to do?" I drawled.
"We will present criminals before you, and you have to execute them."
I swallowed past the lump in my throat, "Execute them? I have to kill them or just send them to the gallows?" I hoped it was the latter.
"You'll see," was all he said, before he gestured to one his men. The man strode off.
As time passed by, I got worried that I would have kill the criminals myself. A while later, he came back with a row of men behind him, their wrists and feet tied.
I doubled back as I saw Andrea as well. I raised my eyebrows at him, and he just shrugged. The first person was pushed forward by Alan, and he stumbled. Alan bowed mockingly in front of me and spoke in a gravelly tone.
"Miss, this is Kale Gillian. He has committed the crime of stealing - "
I wasn't paying attention; I had just noticed the last person in line.
Hale.
