Jack: Look Y/N, you're a fantastic song writer, but where's the hook? Where's the meaning?
You stood there not knowing what to say
He gave you a look showing he wanted you to answer
Y/N: Well, it's a love/pop song
Jack: And..?
Y/N: Well, I'm 17. And I'm successful and all, but.. I've never fallen in love.
Jack: I know that.. you've been my best friend since FOREVER
You both giggled a little when he said forever

It's true, though. You've known Jack since you guys were in 3rd grade. He was stuck a year behind, and so kids made fun of him, but you ended up becoming friends with him. Even though he was a year older than you.

Y/N: But it's hard to write a song like this when I've never really felt it.
Jack: I know, but we have to write a song like this so it can be released in time for it to be nominated for a Grammy.
Y/N: You really think that will happen?
Jack: Hell Yeah!! We've written songs since we were little. We got this. I mean, look how far you've gotten over the last 3 years.
Y/N: But I've never been nominated for a Grammy before. The BIGGEST award you can win as a music artist.

Jack: Hey, we've got like, a year and a half until the Grammys. We've got time to write the album. And I'm telling you.. with this song, and this album. I know we've got this. Plus, who know what can happen in a few months or a year. You can meet someone..

He gave me a little wink. I laughed but my smile faded away quickly.
Y/N: I highly doubt it.
Jack: I know it will. Watch it happen. Then you will be talking to me about him or her all the time.
We both laughed
Y/N: Alright, let's do this fucking album.

Millie: So, What can I hear about this new album of yours?
Y/N: Nothing to say. We just started writing it.
Millie: Hey can I turn the radio on?
Y/N: Yeah, go ahead.

She turned the radio on, and right away, you and Millie's favorite song came on. It was "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry. Whenever you heard the song, you always liked it because you always wanted to feel something like that with someone. Well.. you kinda have. With Millie, but you're not sure if she feels the same way. You don't even know if she likes girls or not.

You've been friends with her for years. Mainly when she started to get a career in acting as Millie Bobby Brown. You supported her with acting, she supported you with music.

You've had a crush on her for almost a year now, but it's hard because she's probably straight and doesn't even like you. But you live with it. You're not quite sure why she likes this song, but she always sings a-long when it comes on.

After the song was over, you got a little sad from thinking of Millie. She must've notice and she tapped your shoulder.
Millie: Hey, what's wrong?
Y/N: Nothing.
Millie: Damn, remember when we first listened to that song together at that one party. And that dude Elijah came up to me and made fun of me for singing it, so I kicked him in his area. We were having such a good time.
Y/N: Yeah.. a good time.

After "I kissed a girl", a new song came on the radio. It was a softer one, but whoever was singing it sounded beautiful. It started to play more of the song, and you felt a way by listening to it.

You were deeply listening to it, but immediately got interrupted by Millie yelling.
Millie: Y/N, red light!
Y/N: Shit!
You stopped right before you hit a car, who gave a honk at you, making sure to leave you the finger.

Millie: Jeez, What happened back there Y/N??
You really didn't know what to say for a few seconds. You didn't know what happened.
Y/N: I don't know, I was just really into the song.
